Wow durianrider! I'm really blown away by how true you are to living naturally and ethically! You do without so many of the so-called necessities and also give so much of yourself voluntarily!
My way of living natually is to do things like: no mobile phone, no plastics, certified organic raw vegan food, just wash my hair in filtered water and acv, no cosmetics, I use bi-carb as deodorant (is this natural?), all natural furnishings with natural paints etc.
Unfortunately though, I do use the computer and drive a car - I'll work on these!

Oxygen2, I'm getting so much out of your suggestions. They make so much sense.
Seth Godin looks really good.
Have you heard of Scott Bywater? Some say he's one of the leading copywriters in Australia. He's written a book 'Cash Flow Advertising'. It's supposed to have lots of really good tips on writing for promotion in general. Could help with lots of aspects of online marketing.
I'm really enjoying all that I'm learning - all going toward spreading the word about raw and natural living through online marketing.
Brett - do you mind if I ask what your site is? Is it about raw food??

Hi Brett,
Apparently, writing articles with good keywords, can result in good SEO. I guess the trick is to work out what are good keywords to use. I've heard that WordTracker is a good start - you can type in possible keywords and it shows up the competition with that keyword on Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.

Hi John,
Many thanks for the really helpful criticism. No need to apologise. Keep it coming!
I took the style of my sign up page from an online marketer called Melanie Mendelson. She has written some helpful ebooks on online marketing and the domain name was one of her ideas.
I would be more comfortable having my sign up page more YOU focussed too.
I'm now at the point where I'd like to find someone to re-write my sign up page for me, but don't know where to start.
And how do I find a new domain name that will work?
Thanks,
Eve

Hi beauhemian,
You are going SO well! And you're the only one doing it in your family.
I'm also a mum with a 14 year old son.
When I first went raw about 3 years ago, my son was really reluctant to follow. If I made something raw, he'd 'crave' for some 'real' food. And naturally, he was (and still is) surrounded by friends just eating junk.
So, I decided not to push it too much, but try to work on his taste buds and the energy factor. I also just occasionally mentioned various home truths about cooked vs raw and health. I also couldn't hold back my enthusiasm for the whole raw and natural way of life! He got quite annoyed by this.
Now? He's no longer 11 years old, but a 14 year old who wants to play good soccer and appeal to girls. Just through trial and error, he realises that he really does feel (and I think looks) great when eating raw. He now really notices the difference. And he's noticed that he seems to have lots more enduring energy than many of his peers.
Just the oher weekend, he had a sleepover (they're a real challenge for raw eaters) and he said he had no choice but to have something from MacDonald's (ugh!). He said "Mum - I felt really strange afterwards - no energy and really weird inside. I hate that stuff". I had him on lots of lemon water (1/4 lemon in 1 cup filtered water) sipped throughout the day - a fast detoxifier.
So, when he has sleepovers, he usually chooses what to take 'just in case' there's nothing to eat e.g. nuts, a packet of gojis etc.
My point is that, with subtle persistance, you can win over your children - your husband might be more challenging. And when you feel great, I think they will want to also.
One more thing, my son's friends seem to like my 'cooking' (really 'uncooking'). It's usually just my whopping big and filling salads with yummy dressings. One friend now asks if I could make an extra sandwich for his school lunch too - getting expensive! And some of his friends (not all) like the green smoothies I make, especially with mango (a child and teen favourite).
Oh, forgot to mention, that my son does have 2 cook things - certified organic spelt or kamut bread for school sandwiches and certified organic spelt pasta. But that's all. I guess it's not too bad in the whole scheme of things.
Sorry this is so long.
xx Eve

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone tries to live naturally not only by eating raw food, but also the following:
* do you have a way that you protect yourself from electromagnetic radiation e.g. mobile phones, tv and computers? Maybe you don't own some or any of these things?
* consciously not living near a mobile phone tower, high voltage cables, tv towers etc
* certified organic food
* clothing - no synthetics
* furniture - all natural with no chemical glues etc
* house - cleaning products, building materials, solar energy
* water - filtered throughout
* general pollution - do you have lots and lots of plants inside your home? Do you have an ioniser inside your home and car to negate the pollution around you?
* children - nappies, non-plastic lunch boxes, how do you encourage your children (small and teens) to stick to natural food etc when with their peers?
* celebrations e.g. what raw food do you make for Christmas, Easter, birthdays etc?
And anything else?
I'd really be interested in 'hearing' about your experiences.
Thanks very much!
xx Eve

Oxygen2,
I have a signup page which promotes my FREE report 'Secrets Of Natural Living In The Modern World'.
Upon downloading the free report, visitors are able to receive my free regular newsletters. These newsletters give simple and practical tips on natural living - things that have worked really well for myself and my son. I always include recipes, measurements on how to make what I've written about. And each newslette is very brief.
The newsletters are going fine. I've written 8 articles for www.ezinearticles.com with a link to my sign up page.
Could you or anyone else, suggest any improvements to my signup page? Maybe I'm not targeting the niche I want, which is people already living or wanting to live completely raw and naturally, whether or not they live in the city.
My site signature is below.
By the way, I'm genuinely wanting feedback, not just more signups.
And by the way, are you a professional online marketer?
Regards,
Eve city.

Hi Love Spirit,
I asked my 'raw' naturopath if she could suggest a completely natual teeth whitener. She suggested I use 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 4 parts filtered water.
I went to my local pharmacy (hate going into those places) to buy the hydrogen peroxide. The sales assistant gave a bottle to me and read the instructions - can be used as a mouth rinse.
She said that actually, a lady came in the other day and bought some for making her hair blonde!
My naturopath said it's completely safe to use as teeth whitener, so I'd imagine the same would be true if used as a hair lightener.
Not sure what the measurements would be.

Hi,
I'm wondering whether anyone has found an easy natural way to improve their vision.
After suffering Crohn's disease and being told it was incurable, it was discovered that my body was saturated with mercury from my dental fillings. When I had them removed, my eyesight improved.
Drinking lots of raw green smoothies improves my eyesight further! Go raw!
