I miss Perth!!! it was the first place i came to in oz, when i first came in 2005. beautiful city. I love the west coast. total contrast to here!! I also love it here of course! And having part of your family so close is a blessing!!

I'm glad you've been taking it easy and evaluating your present situation recently. it always sounds like you work so hard!! Friends and family should always come first, work can always wait. You have support from your family and of course all your fabulous friends, so you have manifested the best of all worlds!! You are a star!!

I cant wait to see you too!!!! this week has just been amazing!! met so many people here, and everything is just flowing. Thanks to you for getting me started! and for inviting me on sat. I'll see if the gorgeous Krystal can come too. She's starting a raw week on tuesday!!! She's excited about Doreen too! Everything we make for her is going in the cafe. And we get to meet her, Yey!! If you have anything i can give her to hand out at her event, she is more than willing to, as she really wants to spread the raw revolution to everyone. it would be great publicity for you. Anyway, we can chat more on SAT!!!!

Oh yes, i'll bring thee a durian for sure....What have i started??!!

I wish i could relax and do lunch with you, but i'm working til 4. hmmmmm... thats ok cos there will be plenty more times we can be yummy together i'm sure!! lets make the durian-date for another time hey?? i dont want to OD!!

Today was really busy at the cafe. It's attracting sooooo many lovely people. Every single person is just awsome. we've obviously created a good energy there!!! The raw cakes seem to be walking out the door! We made some new table-names today, so everyone who orders picks a card, like a tarot card, but it's an affirmation. Each one is 'Be' something, then an inspirational quote underneath. Then when i get peoples food orders, the order says their affirmation, like 'Be creative' or 'Be abbundant' or 'Be patient' (hee hee!), and i take their food out to that table!! oh it's so cool!! I just love being a part of it, and seeing it all evolve. It's so much more than any catering job i've done before. it's like a family.

Been frantically tidying the house before the owners get home tomorrow morning!! I think i'll be moving closer to work as of tomorrow...I'm craving the beach!! Then i can ride to work, swim in the ocean and be closer to my gorgeous friends!

Thankyou for filling up my journal with such loving words averyone!! i am going to try to get round to everyone elses now!

Not sure if i'll have internet at my new home, wherever it may be...so if i'm quiet for a while, i'm sorry! I'll be back!

Looking forward to Jens pot luck on saturday, so for all those who are going, i'll see you there!!

I've just been reading through your journal for the first time and when i reached the end, i realised that maybe we met today??!!

You ate my raw carrot cake at cafe Be!! Krystal must have served you, but i've been working in there making all the raw food, and next week we are going to introduce lots more!

It would be awsome to meet you. sounds as though you are working really hard at the mo, and you are doing wonders on your raw journey. keep listening to your body, experimenting to learn what feels good for you, and take each meal at  a time.

I am staying on the gold coast for a while, pumping out the raw at the cafe!! definatly have to catch up sweetie..

Wow! i want to live there too!!

I was drifting away into a blissfull paradise for a moment there....we are sun-children for sure!! my dream is to one day live on a big piece of land where everything can grow naturally in abundance, build some barns and yurts and treehouses, and live with a community of other souls who appreciate things the same way we do. the birds would eat from our hands, there would be enough fruit to feed us all and still some for all the animals, and each and every creature would have its purpouse and place.

Thanks waterberry. i actually recon raw food makes us more dumb sometimes.. (ok, maybe it's just me!!)today at work,i kept saying things like,''do you want any green juice in your apple?'' oh dear! maybe i should switch to coffee??!! hee hee, only kidding!! i'd be pinging off the walls!

Today i got to meet my good friend Swami for the first time!! (Hey girl!!)

had a short day at work. made more cakes, then spent half the morning helping the other girls  eat the slices they ''accidently'' cut wonky!! Uhhhhhhhh, yumm but my bodies definatly more accustomed to simpler foods nowadays. had a lovely connection with swami outside in the sunshine, walked on the beach and went for a ride on my trek. Thought i'd better do some cleaning before the owner of the house gets back from her holiday on friday. i managed to move the vacuum out of the cupboard, then got distracted and went outside and decided to make a shrine out of my durian shells under the big avocado tree instead. Oh she will be pleased with me!!

Another great day. looking forward to the next great day, which will  be tomorrow, obviously! yes, life is awsome.

Just been reading your journal for the first time and wanted to give it some gojo lovvvvve....

i can also repeat what everyone else says about you in that i can relate to you, with your feelings towards raw, others feelings and being influenced. The fact that you are so honest is a big step towards realising whats right for you. you go girl!! you are doing the best!

I've suffered from low self esteem and still do, though it gets better the more you surround yourself with people who are where you want to be, and that understand you for you. I still have good friends who make me question if eating raw is right or wrong. But only you can feel into how you feel. Health issues are what first got me into raw, and i've come to realise, that by focusing all my energy on my poorer health stuff, it doesnt solve them ,just makes them more so. so i try to focus on what i am grateful for with my body, rather than the negatives. I try (although it's hard because i've always been a diet-experimenter) not to focus on what i eat as a cure to my health or image issues, and rather aim towards having a peaceful loving mind, which can be very powerful. It's not always food/ supplements/diets that cure us. rather how our minds create our reality. if only some naturapaths told you that!! i guess they would'nt sell much that way hey!

Your experiences of suppressing emotions with food and binging are very similar to what i've been through. And i think we all know that it doesn't solve anything, just prolongs the hurt! I've only done a couple of short fasts. between 3-7 days, and always having juice. But it's always helped me to feel in touch with my true feelings, ground me and helped me to focus. I'd suggest doing some juices, at least at first, and i think that FreeleaRaw's advise to help you know what you really want is great. trying not to focus on the food and shift your awareness into creating some vitality for life.

Hi everyone!!

I've had a very exciting day today! after last night, i hardly slept, thinking about all the new friends i made yesturday!! LOVED meeting you all, and connecting with such liberating souls!!!

Hi swami and thankyou for the invitation for saturday!! I cant wait! I hope to see you at the cafe this week..Krystal said you and your bunny are very cute!

Up at dawn, let out the chooks, off to the cafe at 6.30. Told Krystal that we absolutlty had to get more raw happening fast!! She thinks it's great, so today i made a carrot cake, banana icecream and thai salad! I also have some very exciting news which means there will be much more in there next week..... I am doing a catering job for someone pretty famous (in my eyes) next week, so everything i make for her will be put in the cafe too!!!

I have one word to describe my time since being in oz, and thats syncronistic!!! everything has unfolded at the right time, it's crazy sometimes!! i'm like...how does everything always fall into place so perfectly?!!!

After work, i drove down to Byron to pick up my bike that i'd left there. when the woman who's house i'm looking after gets back on friday, i'll be car-less again, so i'm visioning using my mountain bike to tour around!! i have a list of stuff i need..panniers, lights, new tyres.... but i am new to this game so any advise from you keen cyclists out there would be very handy!

So even though i am back to making lots of gourmet raw for work, i am sticking to a really simple diet for myself now. I havent slipped back into being a raw-junk-foodie again!! toady i made a big grapefruit/orange/apple/ginger juice for breakie, folllowed by a green juice mid morning and a huge GS after work, with banana/pineapple/spinach/celery and apple. Then, i have a confession to make!!! actually, its not a confesion because I LOVED it so its all good!!! Since being up on the GC, i've got addicted to getting Durians, as theres a shop near work that sells them! i seriously think i am addicted, and my only guilt comes from the fact thay are so expensive and not local (obviously!!!) so for dinner i licked the creamiest sweetest durian off my fingers, and day dreamed of eating real local durians next year!!

Going to skip across to visit all your journals now! trying not to get the keyboard too sticky!!

Had a breif chat with Jen this morning..What a day it has been!!! the reason its taken me so long to get on the forum is because i couldn't remember my username from when i joined back in england. I called Jen to ask her what i'd called myself. She said, ''it's Chocolate Cheeks!!'' Where did that come from??!! Hee hee!! Pretty funny, but i thought i'd be Gojigojo today...Go Jo in the flow.

What a fabulous monday it has been. Going to try to get some sleep now, dreaming of the coming together of all my shiney new friends.....
