Thanx lesbc I picked a few up at the org. markets the other day and was wondering if they were all as flavourless as the two I opened or if there was something else to them. What about making a puree and adding a bit of agave and using as a sauce, dressing or even dehydrating them with another fruit that combines well with it!
Perhaps the dehydrator is great for transitioning although I do love having my dehydrator and it's not like using it at a really high heat to kill any beaut enzymes.Too many grapes-make your own raisins or any other fruits as well as all of the other goodies you can make in them. Left over nut milk pulp can be transformed into amazing raw snax, cakes and cookies. I like the idea of creating yummies with left over pulp from juicing too. There's many things you can create and after all, it is a matter of choice and what works for you. How does it get any better than this and what else is possible?
Just made a gs with silverbeet, banana and mint pulp that had been marinating in agave for the mint and choc ice cream from Naked Chocolate book. That was quite tasty too.
Sure looks delishimo. Shall certainly give it a go. So, you reckon the hardest part would be gettin the darn coconut open! Unless of course I've not been holding my tongue the wrong way.
Just made a delish gs. Went to the markets in the weekend and bought some sugar cane juice with ginger and lime juice added. Have just blended about 1/4 of vitamix and diluted with water and added two silver beet leaves. Comes out a most brilliant bright green and really tasty.
I'm all inspired with all of your posts, thankyou. Each day I'm progressing with the amount of raw foods I'm consuming. The green smoothie is certainly a saviour and so simple to make. Interesting to hear what ingredients you all put in yours. Mine seem so bland in comparison, soooooo, I'll just have to change that.
