Ah, but how he may have LIVED in those 50 years - and how much joy & accomplishment may have resulted from achieving even half a list.  smiley

Yes, I'd take quality over quantity any time.

Seeds & all (for me) when I do it.  That's when I am lucky enough to find seeded watermelon.

Thanks, MissG.  I have a beautiful whole seeded watermelon sitting here and I know what I'll be doing with it!!!  ohyeah

Sounds delish!  Do you take the seeds out, or just blend them up as well?

Thanks, Jim.  I've been thinking about buying a second fridge just for Summer use and keeping it cool rather than cold.  I'm often able to scrounge large quantities of fruit, which is great, but storage in the hot weather can be a bit of a problem.   rolleyes

Hi Jim,

How do you manage storage for that amount of produce in the warmer/Summer months?

5 fingers are expensive.

the USA distributor does not ship outside of the north america, the cheapest options would be to have somebody in USA to buy it for YOu and than posted over here, that would be about half the cost

from memory they are $80-90 USD

Rudolf,

I got my VFFs from www.gotyourgear.com for AU$115 delivered.  Excellent service, too.  I love my VFFs.  Because I have to run in the dark I'm not prepared to go fully barefoot due to unseen hazards, so they're ideal for what I need.  I don't even know I've got them on most of the time and haven't had any problems with rubbing, etc.

Cheers,

Michaela

Hi Harley,

Could you please give me an idea of the amount of greens you eat and what they are?  Do you eat them every day, or not worry if you miss a day or two?

Thanks,

Michaela

If there is pain when you're running, you're doing something wrong.  Slow everything down and make adjustments to your form until the pain stops.  Make sure you're landing lightly and directly above your feet.  Have a look at www.chirunning.com for information on correct body position.

I had started having injury problems, and this was as a fit runner, until I learned correct form and now I have ditched the cushioned shoes and run in Vibram Fivefingers without any pain at all.  It's wonderful and has brought a new enjoyment of running.  It takes time and effort but, as with changing to a raw foods diet, it's worth it.

One of the best ways to start is using the Couch to 5k program http://www.c25k.com/.  There is a link to an Australian (metric) version of the program just under the introduction.

Other helpful sites are www.coolrunning.com.au and www.chirunning.com.

With the sinkers/floaters question - I've read that floaters contain methane gas which could be an indication of improper digestion or fermentation taking place.    Sound feasible?  shrug
