got an evil cramp tonight in my hamstrings, went on for about 5 mins, wonder what that could be? its usually low salt or potassium isn't it? i've had heaps of bananas and celery so i shouldn't be deficient in either..

eating the food of the summers of my youth as that seems to bring a unique atmosphere to my thoughts..

connecting with a new group of sometimes eclectic but always interesting people..

listening and reading the thoughts and theory's of raw movement leaders..

integrating new thoughts and theory's into my mind..

living a new paradigm..
5  FAQ - Check Here for the most common Answers! / Raw Food FAQ / Re: wine ???? on: Thursday 08 January, 2009
when i was drinking wine i used to drink glass for glass sparkling mineral water that seemed to keep me hydrated, i've only had a few glasses in the last 12 months as opposed to a bottle a day for many years, i don't miss it at all and only had two glasses over christmas and they were rose... haven't got the stomach for the wines i used to like which were more robust like shiraz.. eggs whites are used as a settling agent also, funny thing is they always use organic eggs cause they work better..

might be hard to get a job in the raw food world here in aus, maybe work at a fruit and veg store, you could definitely promote raw food there.. maybe all fruit and veg stores should be populated by raw employees, looking fit and healthy and sell the idea of raw/live food... maybe you could set up at store at one of those sunday markets and sell fruit, i know allot of people who make more than a living from weekend markets... other alternative is a healthfood store that sells f&v... usa is the place for raw resturants 200+ there..

wild springs, now your talking, i'd say you surrounded by them in nsw, maybe you could start documenting some raw adventures on youtube, i saw one with daniel vitalis and kevin gianni the other day

i used to pick strawberries straight from my grandmothers lawn before i mowed it, they were wild and tiny but you'd get the taste of a whole punnet in one the size of a hazelnut.. i think they were native to florida, i could be wrong but i saw them in quite a few lawns near where i lived...yummo.. wonder if you could buy the seeds here in australia??

i was speaking to a guy in wa who worked for the agriculture dept or somethin like that and he was saying that the biggest tomato farmer in wa had been spraying his tomatoes with ddt for the last many years which he had been importing from his native vietnam, it made the news in wa i believe...

yes i guess the cravings are part of the detox, i mean i've been high raw for a long time and very high the last few months with the odd thing like baklava, but 100% is allot harder, however i just ate an awesome fruit salad with fresh mint and thats quenched my craving so its all good.. the minds quite a pliable thing i've found.. on a darker note i was  just posting in a condolense book online of my friend in england who died just before christmas, was funny cause everyones left a message like to his family and i felt to talk to him, so i kinda wrote it in the present tense, but it felt kinda wrong not to talk to him directly.. too many dieing young thats for sure. well might go for a walk with my son.

i was just talking to my grandmother in the states and she was making pumpkin soup with crusty bread and its raining here, sure feels like pumpkin soup weather.. i wont be eating or making it but i sure have a hankering for it.. i find when someone mentions certain dishes it drives me crayzzee.. normally i'd just go eat it and that solves that or do something else to get it off my mind, i ate baklava so much before christmas that i'm off it now.. but i don't think that would work with pumpkin soup... i remember when i had pneumonia all i ate was pumpkin soup and all i drank was honey and lemon... whenever i'm sick i always reach for the honey and lemon...pumpkin soup would have to be the king of soups Undecided

had strawberry salad for dinner, the strawberries were all but tasteless, i thought they didn't grow them anymore, teach me to trust landline...

feel pretty tired may try and have an early night.

drank some tap water while out today and it tasted like metal, i almost spat it out like a vomit, my mate was looking at me like i was insane, had to laugh.

must say the more fruit you eat the more you realize how much skata the supermarkets put out..malakas!

my mangos on the other hand a fantastic, so sweet... gonna pick some tomorrow from a tree next to my friends property, we've got a long snip type thing on a pole, just means we're gonna have to catch em, might try climbing the tree if its not too wet.. so this could be my last post. laugh if it is i love y's all..

i was thinking john, maybe you could drape clothes over the weights to increase the weight on each side, i'm not sure how much a tea shirt or tea towel or a towel weighs but that way you could go up in very small increments... feeling pretty good this arvo, still got a bit of a headache... a friend of mine is in hospital with constricted bowel, he's on a high protein diet.. he's in a pretty bad way. he like's to do things his own way that's for sure, he's almost bionic at 45 with shoulder and disc replacement..very stoic.
