I'm taking it from you dream that your husband is not pursuing a diet that you feel is MOST beneficial to him?

I always believed in "where there's life there's hope" motto.  I still do.  So I couldn't understand the push for euthenasia.  I now accept that people have the right to chose when it comes to euthenasia...that's just not my choice.  However I don't think diet should be discounted with treating or curing illness.  It has happened before (will continue too) and it has turned people's lives around who have suffered terminal illness months/weeks away from dying.  It just frustrates me that the medical system do not even consider diet to help out anyone way before it gets to the stage where one would consider euthenasia.  And yes John there is alot to intent......recently a woman passed away from multiple cancers and was believed by close friends that this was her 'polite' way of suicide from an uhappy life.

Diet should DEFINATELY be considered when anyone is suffering illness..........way before euthenasia should even be thought of!!!

I believe Western society can offer assistance in developing nations and Africa is a good example.  For eg. we can provide education when it comes to the environment.  Nomads in Somalia have contributed to the drought in their land without understanding what they had been doing as destructive. ie whereever they travelled they would cut down trees to build temporary housing.  after awhile this caused less rainfall and water became more scarce so they would travel more often and continue to cut down trees and created this vicious cycle.
This is one example out of many where education is vital.............
