Hi there, just found your message from last week, lol, I never remember to look for messages so thank you for caring.
Organisation and planning ahead are critical, as soon as we aren't prepared, convenience will set in... not good but you are right in saying a new and better day ahead, keep strong dear Frangipanni keep strong.
Thinking of you and sending (((hugs)))

Day 111
I'm trying to get my head back into full swing with raw, for some reason I've been thinking way too much about cooked which isn't a good thing, before and during my fast I never really thought about cooked at all, it didn't really interest me which was great but this week I've really been struggling with it. I've just had a coconut/spinach drink which as usual was divine and I'm tossing with the idea of having another, lol. Today I'll make some raw fudge and try focus my attention on RAW more than cooked while preparing meals for the family so as not to 'indulge the thought' too much.
Tummy seems to have settled down a bit now, yeh, nose is still ewwwww.
Saturday
Tropical smoothie (mixed fruit) 3 x flax crackers with avo and tom brazil nuts cashew nuts banana raw soup (carrot, tom, celery & corn) water warmed up green tea

With James, who's now two, I started him on mushed banana at six months because he was mimicking everyone else's eating actions, lol. I kept him on this for a couple of weeks, just small amounts and then progressed to avo and did the same with this. I didn't combine foods for quite some time because I think mono meals for infants are best for their digestion.

Frangipanni you are doing so well, I haven't had time to read your journal lately so it's been a good read today. You handled your 'hostess' situation beautifully, you should be very proud of yourself. How is your psoriasis going? Any noticeable difference yet? I noticed that my pee changed colour to match the juices I was drinking, lol, and was very clear when on water, just in case you were curious . Take care

Thankyou Frangipanni. Well Im on day ?? 109 I'm not going to post what I've eaten over the past few days because I didn't write anything down and I can't remember it all but it's pretty much what I've always eaten. I've still got alot of mucus coming out of my nose (because you needed to know that didn't you, lol) and I've had an upset tummy (lots of cleansing etc... say no more on this), not sure if it's something going around or if it's cleansing set off by my fast but it's not very pleasant. I haven't had any smoothies since my fast which is strange but ok. I still crave and have raw vege soups and celery is a daily friend of mine now. My daughter took some headshots of me on my birthday and I can honestly say I'm looking much better than I did a few months ago. I need to buy some new pants too, mine are now sitting on my bum a little like those teenagers you see with their pants way too low and feel the need to give them a wedgie, lol, not good on a 43 year old I'm telling you, lol. Today Warmed up green tea 1/2 jug cacao/almond milk (made it for junior but he wasn't interested today, what a shame:)) water pineapple/spinach blended Ok, take care and thanks for reading, bye now

Well said Jen.
Pinky your kids will not judge you for how your house looks and neither will anyone else who cares about you. Your children will grow into wonderful people through the love that you show, you don't have to entertain them constantly, they will not hold this against you when they are older. Like Jen said, ALL mothers go through this and yes it is hard but it is well worth it, your little ones will all grow up together and be the best of friends because of their close ages, this is when you will be happy you had them sooooo close, I know this because my first three were close too and guess what, I made it through and so will you. When you go to bed each night, exhausted, just say 'thankyou' and it will see you through the next day.
Love and lots of hugs to you

Ooops, just trying something out... I was just putting a picture on my avatar and it worked, yeh me, that's my birthday pic my daughter took, I actually like it. I've been busy over the past couple of days with my birthday and still having the kids at home, they go back to school on Thursday, strange day to go back I know... I'll update properly when I've more time, still 100% (although it's been a bit harder over the past couple of days), it will be better when the kids are back to school. Bye now

So I didn't get pineapples, I had vege 'soup/juice' for dinner slightly warmed, it was very comforting. It's funny when you don't feel good you just want comfort food, I find it very annoying because I've come this far without wanting any cooked food, not even really thinking about it and now this, waaaaa, I want to feel better (I'm such a sook). Ok, I've got myself together again now, well since I've gone off my fast I really haven't 'eaten' much, I've been having juice/smoothie concoctions, funny that, it's a weird sensation to chew again too.
Well I'm off to have a coconut/spinach smoothie, yeh.

I also had on Friday...
1 banana (and I did have the vege juice for dinner)
Day 103 - Saturday
coconut/spinach smoothie water, water, water 2 x dates vege juice for lunch (I left the corn in kernels and popped them in at the end, it was nice to crunch on them) 1/2 cup nuts, seeds & sultanas warmed up green tea water
Today I feel like I've come down with a cold, my nose hasn't stopped running and my head hurts, lol, here I have just fasted with next to no detox symptoms at all and then when I stop fasting this happens, lol, my little one has the same thing so I think it's just because we've had a real cold snap and we just aren't used to it here.
I really feel like a pineapple/spinach drink but I don't have any, I may just have to go get a couple of pineapples to see me through this thing. It's my birthday on Monday and I want to feel good.
Take care and thanks for reading, bye.

Hello, I'm back, boy a couple of days goes by quickly doesn't it.
Day 102
Well today I broke my fast on purpose. I've done 13 days of Juice/water and feel really good but I found I was starting to think too much about food (of the sad variety) so I came to the conclusion it was best to finish my fast on a happy note rather than go in the danger zone of feeling deprived.
What have I got from my little fast, I look better and I feel better. I wouldn't say I've lost heaps of weight but it has shifted the weight a bit quicker for me which is nice. My psoriasis doesn't really look alot better but my skin is soooooo soft, love it.
I'd like to do another fast in October, my six month mark.
So today I've had...
Heaps of water 400mls pineapple/spinach juice warmed up green tea (it's so cold here for me) 2 x dates small handful of nuts (ooops probably not the best thing to eat after fasting but it was nice to crunch something)
I will probably have a vege juice (slightly warmed) for dinner as I really like them now and I'd like to keep them in my diet at present.
Ok, thanks for reading and keep warm

Day 100 - Day 11 fast - juice 500 mls - coconut/spinach 400 mls - watermelon, orange & strawberry 800 mls - carrot, tom, celery, sp. onion, spinach & corn 800 mls - carrot, tom, celery, sp. onion, spinach, corn, bok choy & beetroot 2500 mls in total + plenty of water Day 12 fast - juice 400 mls - apple/celery (two whole sticks celery) Well I have a huge headache right now so I won't say much at all, not sure what's caused it, could be the cold, could be detox but I'm not sure. My daughter says maybe it's time to start eating again but I'm not sure, I'll see how the rest of the day pans out. My monthly cam two days early, this never happens I'm usually spot on 28 days. Thanks for reading and take care
