16  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / Off Topic Chat / Re: John Has Decided to Stay and PLAY full out!! on: Thursday 02 August, 2007
What a post Rudy!

Astrologically (hope you don't mind me bringing that up again) you described influence of Saturn in a personal chart - fears and "must have it hard way as the easy way is boooring" and everything else you said (some people have it more pronounced in their charts than others, obvioulsy) - but Saturn is also a symbol of wisdom (an old sage) and, most importantly, an base substance that alchemists usued to work with to turn into gold (and of course as a personal development metaphor, gold is a symbol of physical, spiritual, emotional and mental perfection).

These who don't have a very storng Saturn have it easy, well, easier but they usually stop developing early in life and just walk slowly towards the grave.

Not these who have a lot of this... basic substance that needs to turn into gold. But it does turn, as it did with you Rudy. ever considered coalling yourself an Alchemist?

Not sure whether this make sense....

What a dream! Must be leaving you exhausted! What immediately comes to mind is some underlying sense of life as a struggle.

But I agree with RawBrilliance - dreams are very personal.

keeping in line with manifesting expeiment: what abot you putting and intention out to the universe that you will be able to undertand the meaning of the dream next time it comes. You may wake up and know somehow....

I really like your stories and your dreams.

Welcome to the Fiery Club and glad you will stay. What a courage to admit you overreacted a dash!

But i must admit this MOD Squad was a scary thing to see in the forum - if there is one thing i like about this forum is that it is not faceless as much as other forums tend to be (except for people like me who can't find time to read the photo rules and apply them, boo).

The MOD Squad sounded scary! Really! It was like a big bro appearing out of nowhere! Pressed some buttons? Pressed mine too, but you John acted it out for all of us whoes buttons were pressed. Thanks mate! You took up reacting upon yourself to let us maintain our innocence! Otherwise someone else would have to do it, right?

Still excited about manifesting experiment...

Come across a forum discussing manifesting, not as good as yours would be but...

19  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / Off Topic Chat / Re: Vitamix worth the price? on: Tuesday 31 July, 2007
Hio Cornelius20, are you from Australia? If so, there is an Australian version of the Vitamix, half price. now, you can probably justify $600.

If you need to know more, pm me

Cheers

Hi Stine, so this is what I had written in my notes:
 proportions: 270 g carrot, 130 g seleriac, 60 g parsnip

you juice it and drink 3-4 times a day for two weeks (I am not sure how far the above amounts will take you, so just try - you can store it for a day, but making a fresh one each time, or at least twice a day, is ways better.

beetroot juice (with lemon or apple) is also good for the liver - but (apparently) it is better to be left in a dark place for a couple of hours before drinking. Not sure why, but maybe because it is so difficult for some people  to tolerate on its own (it makes me a bit nauseous when its too fresh, I sometimes make beetroot salad, just grated beetroot and lemon juice (sometimes i add a dash of fresh grated horseradhish if possible) - but i leave it for an hour to loose this earthy flavour that beetroors tend to have and then it's really yummy).

Anyway - hope that helps. of course being all raw will cleanse your liver sooner or later anyway  ohyeah

Since the manifesting topic started many people expressed their interest in 'working on things', 'moving on' and 'manifesting more' as well as using the experiment to 'explore new directions'.

So, here we go, we all have been pushed and pulled wherever we needed to go. manifestation indeed! Any more proof needed, anyone?

Having your own metaphysical space on the internet sounds fantastic! let me know if you need help, but i believe you would do a great job anyway! Good luck and please let us know where to look it up. and it's a great way to make money too, once it takes off. So good luck, not that you need it... hehe

Thanks Rudolf, I will post the proportions as soon as I find them (they are somewhere at home and I am at work now). But if someone knows the receipe, please post it here.

Hi Stine,

I have heard of a liver/kidney flush that is achieved by specific juices of root vegies, carrot, parsnip and celeriac. i will dig out proportions and send them soon. Someone in my family did it, they had cancer at the time, and it flushed a lot of 'dirt' from them.

I can't even imagine drinking oil, yuk! so I understand you completely. the juice method is much tastier but much slower too (takes a couple of weeks to flash stuff out of your body).

It also shoudln't be too difficult for you considering root vegies are abundant in Northern Europe.

John,

I understand and support your decision and will send you my email address - and it's fantastic that you wtill want to continue.

I read the moderators' contribution yesterday and, like you, felt quite uneasy about it. i agree with the swearing part - that can be left out without any regrets, but the 'faceless' way of dealing with it was quite frightening. I spent over 20 years living in a communist regime, and find these kind of efforts of control quite unappealing. the only reason i though i should stay here is to continue with the experiment we started.

On the other hand,  people on this forum provided me with a great support in moments of weakness and doubt. they gave me strategies to deal with partners, friends and relatives who believe not only in cooked to death but also in meaty meals. They stimulated my thought and make me feel more 'normal'. I think I will see how the forum develops...

Pity you want to go John, your sense of humour and engagement with deeper issues will be greatly missed.

Do you, or anyone else, think it's possible to strat our own forum to discuss the Law of Attraction and to continue with the experiment? I think I may have means to set one up - will need to talk to my IT expert son though. Will talk with you in private about that.

Hi Shari, great that your daughter is keen, it's so good to have someone's support. Hope your day at work goes well tomorrow!

May, my latest favo dressings are: (1) olive oil, red wine vinegar (only a dash), lemon juice, garlic and sea salt - for green salads. (2) avo with orange juice and a dash of nutmeg - with salads made with celery, apple, cos, raisins, carrots etc. I go through stages, like it a bit lighter in summer but crave something more substantial now. Not ready for 811 yet lol! Also, sometimes I crush nuts (macadamias or cashews and mix them with orange juice and a dash of lemon juice into a thick paste. Fruit salads, definitely with cashew cream - cashews with oj and lemon and a bit of raw honey. I miss berries a lot and so i sometimes buy frozen raspberries and eat them with the cashew cream or avocado cocoa rawhoney cream yum!!! Well, i guess you only wanted to know the savoury salads... I love nama soyu but got off it a bit right now - it will come back i am sure!

Love

Thanks John, That's so well explained, I am going through a lot of brain chatter this week for different reasons (inclusing not being religious about my yoga and eating bread on a few occasions, yuk!). I think I will start with a simple one, I am calm and repeat it over and over again. Greatly needed right now.

Thanks Rudy for explanation - I actually read some stuff on Sankalpa - Therapy Yoga and yes, they said it's beast done with yoga nidra (meditation) - so that would be so called alfa state, I think that's what we get when just woken up. I tried asking questions before going to sleep and my best ideas come to me when i wake up. The only condition is that i actually release it to the universe rather than try to 'solve' it with my logical mind (in which case i don't sleep at all and are too restless to come even close to alfa state.

May - good to hear from you again here. I have been thinking of you while listening to my cds with Esther Hicks channeling Abraham - I think you would like the recording too. I would like to share them with you one day ...

Off to do my 'I am calm' - meditation and looking forward to manifestation experiment.

Welcome Shari.

Great photo. Is this your family?

Congratulations on starting on raw! It will get rid of wrinkles and more.

Looks like you are detoxing, hence the headache. I was in agony on my first two days of raw but it all passes.

This forum is great to keep you raw and to keep you informed. i have learned a LOT from people here and everone here cares!  You are not on your own here. Is your partner going to try raw as well?

Thanks Rudy, I looked up Sankalpa yoga and will do some reading on it. Do they parctice normal asanas as in Iyanga or is it more breathing oriented like hata yoga? I know how powerful yoga is and like the ide of using that time to affirm something. I will read more but couldn't find any teachers here in Adelaide, pity!

I know what neurolinguistic programming is, but what is TLP?

Thanks Michaela, i did mean chad sarno indeed - what a slip!!! Must have been that bread I ate that day!

Yestarday I had another bad day - there is a pattern here, i was very busy and very hungry, forgotten to bring the dressing and was faced with dressless salad, so munched on some leaves and stayed hungry. then we had an afternoon tea at work with cheese and crackers and sh%t and I had some, well, i actually had many - it's very addictive and I definitelly want more of it even now.

The effect - I could not sleep half the night, have a headache and have been feeling quite edgy since then.

That will teach me! I have plenty of bananas with me today and fresh oranges and avo and nuts and goji berries to keep myself 'in line'. I don't feel terribly guity, just unwell!

The good part is that I crave raw now and want to eat greens and raw soups. Yum... carrot soup... yum....

May, sorry to hear about Subway episode. being hungry seems to be a pattern for you too, and having a meal served rather than having to get up and chop and wash and chop some more...

Never mind, today is a great day. it's very warm in Adelaide too!!!! What about Perth?

And in my humble subjective opinion - it taste faul too.... Why would you spoil a good smoothy with it?

Some time ago I tried taking it daily to improve my iron and only lasted a few days. Gimme fresh salad anytime!!!

May, I am with you on GS and puddings with bananas. My fav winter gs is pears and baby spinach with a dash or limon/orange juice or even orange segments. I would like to try one with kiwi fruit in it too, but haven't yet. And yes - can't wait for mangoes!!!!!!!! last year when the season started and I first spotted 'mango-plentifulness' at the market - I jumped and danced for several minutes (very embarrasing for my hubby! lol!)
