Perhaps because you're more grounded? High fruit, without high greens, made me feel mentally 'floaty' and unable to concentrate. By eating a much higher percentage of greens, I still feel energised physically but more level mentally and able to concentrate for longer. Just a thought.
Yey for self acceptance!

I thought I would cross post this here. I made it in response to a food thread.
I just want to add that organic isn't always better. Sometimes organic can be farmed in a commercial way (mass production) with little care for the soil, though 'organic' chemicals are used. More and more of this is happening so that the large supermarkets can have organic products on their shelves.
Try and buy local. Talk to the sellers at your local markets. Join a co-op. Add the term 'sustainable' to your list of requirements.
I think it's important to manage our soils in a better way and this is a topic that I am also passionate about.
Which led to:
Good soil health influences lots of things, like erosion, water and air, seed germination, salinity, root growth and of course our health from a food perspective.
We are essentially what we eat (as well as breath, think, etc). More and more studies are being done that indicate that the state of our soils is a direct match to the state of our cellular health.

I strongly believe that we need to go past 'organic' and more towards biodynamics.
"Essentially, biodynamic farming and gardening looks upon the soil and the farm as living organisms. It regards maintenance and furtherance of soil life as a basic necessity if the soil is to be preserved for generations, and it regards the farm as being true to its essential nature if it can be conceived of as a kind of individual entity in itself — a self-contained individuality. It begins with the ideal concept of the necessary self-containedness of the farm and works with furthering the life of the soil as a primary means by which a farm can become a kind of individuality that progresses and evolves." http://www.biodynamics.com/biodynamics.html
And this from the same page: Soil improvement is obtained by proper humus management — e.g., by the application of sufficient organic manure and compost in the best possible state of fermentation; by proper crop rotation; by proper working of the soil; by protective measures such as wind protection; cover crops, green manure, and diversified crops rather than monocultures; and by mixed cropping so that plants can aid and support each other. Farm manure and compost are the most valuable fertilizers. They contain organic matter on which the soil bacteria and earthworms can feed and then revitalize the soil. They contain colloids, which absorb moisture and mineral solutions in the ground, form a crumbly structure, and eliminate the danger of erosion. The careful storage of manure in heaps covered with earth, as taught by the biodynamic method, avoids nitrogen loss to a great degree.
For me it is about going back to the structures that Mother Earth had in place. Modern agriculture is a long way from how it was first designed. But not too far. We do have a chance to do something about it, but we need to do it quickly.
By taking control of what we buy and what we eat (gardening) we are taking a step for the future, our own and the generations to follow.
Many scientists are saying it is too late for change. We left it too long. But I am an optimist by nature and I feel that if we make a dramatic change in this generation, we can make a huge difference.
In the western world, natural parenting and educating is a part of that process I believe. By focusing again on children and the family unit, our choices change. It becomes about making choices that influence their future.
And as was raised in another thread, it is about intuition.
I intuitively know that plants grown in my own garden and healthy soil are more alive than ones I pick up from the supermarket shelf. I also know that I feel healthy, vibrant and alive when I eat them.
The soil is the starting point of all that.
I could go on and on about this one!

I think it is something that happens. By itself. It is not something that can be forced or contrived because by nature, BEING is about pure honesty.
I too struggle with getting deeper when conversing with people. I want to know how people really are when I ask them. I want to know what is going on for them. Purely to care and share - though at times I know the ego comes in to play and tries to fix things for them.
As you become more connected with Source. More 'in the moment'. People will come into your life who are on that wavelength, that vibration. Just the fact that you are thinking about it and opening up to the idea, guarantess you will have more encounters like that.
Love and peace.

Still giggling at your cat pic. It's a combination of freeform crochet, embroidery and ragrug. It's pretty toned down compaired to a lot of my work, to suit the person I am giving it to. Felting is something I would like to explore in the future. Some of the results are stunning, especially of the newer stuff that is coming out. I think with any sort of hobby, you need to be led by your creativity. If I don't feel drawn to do something, I won't. Often it has led me to explore and find something else I really enjoy doing. I also have times where I don't enjoy something but then later on I am interested again. I think I am feeling better because I have stopped thinking about it so much! Seriously though, I feel like I have let go a bit. ykwim? Just trying to focus on the moment and be in the process of our move, etc. Still no weight release that I've noticed, but for today that's ok. I do this from time to time and then freak out again. I feel like the gaps between calm acceptance are getting closer together. Progress?

We are having an amazing week! The sun is out, so that helps. Who can have a bad week when the sun is shining? Summer has arrived. Besides the packing, I have been working on Christmas presents. This is one of them. It is a wall hanging for a friend. She love, love, loves butterflies and asked for me to do her one when she saw something I had made for someone else. It still needs a few finishing touches, but I am pleased with it so far. On the food side of life - I am starting to feel better. My skin is clear, my eyes are bright, sore gums are gone and ulcers too. I feel like I have made it through the valley and am making my way up the other side. Today I've eaten, peaches, plums, grapes, greens. I love summer
