I think one of the strangest things for this topic is how acidic fruits can alkalize the body in the long run. Such as how lemons with their concentrated citric acid are one of the most powerful alkalizing substances for the body.
But then my teeth have also suffered from this acid directly by eating two many citrus, blueberries, pineapple, etc... which I'm sure have contributed to the enamel loss on my teeth.
So now I don't munch a great deal of acidic fruits, rather i'll blend em up or go for the durian, avo's, sapote's and well... 100's of yet-to-be tasted low-acid fruits.
Have many people had problems with their teeth from excessive fruit? I'm sure I'll come accross a thread dedicated to this question in reading old posts to get up to speed... lol
Yeah dinner was intense, such a change to everyones usual 'simple foods' - but so good! and such good entertainment I think everybody over-ate that night, it was inevitable... mmm thirds anyone? Gay deserves all the praise in the world for hosting that night (and week for the luckier ones)
I'd also like to see the picture of Harleys plate compared to everybody else's 5 mins into the meal... that was tops
