oh Raw Aussie Mum.. to ge the sweet potato chips nice and crunch you have to slice them really thin, I do mine with the thinest setting on the v-slicer and as Sheryl said a little coconut oil really help too. just slice them all into a bowl and toss with coco oil and flavour if you want such as spices, herbs and/or sea salt. then spread individually, you don't want them overlapping. Have fun they are delicious! karen
You could get some raw sprouted buckwheat flour and mix it with soaked dates, for extra moisture add some date soak water or a nce ripe banana... mix the Buckwheat flour, soak water and or banana then add chopped soaked dates at the end so that you don't mush them all up then shape into scones and place in your dehydrater for about 1-2 hours. Or just eat as they are. this is a nice light version.. no nuts or seeds.
If you want them a bit more substantial you could add sprouted dehydrated almond meal to the buckwheat flour.. this would make them really delicious! A dash of ground vanilla bean would be nice too!
have fun. If I get time I will have a go at them tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

PS Jen has Raw Sprouted Buckwheat flour in the shop.
Yes, she has been having them for a long time and seems to be fine. That's so true about the wild and surely if they were bad for her she wouldn't want them. I will get onto Freedom.
I have a great Doctor that is very Pro Raw... I have blood tests done and my b12 is low so she gives me Sublingual B12 which is a liquid that you put under your tongue, it's very good. Dr Gabriel Cousins has been raw for a very long time and has done a lot of research on B12.. he really recommends that we keep and eye on it and take supplements if needed.. I have been raw for over 3 years.
Just thought I would share this with you guys... I never get cravings to eat anything but raw. but I do love the smell of other foods... bread baking, especially fruit loaf, even some meat dishes smell great. But to me it's like perfume or flowers... they smell great but I have no desire to eat them.. maybe try thinking of it like that and it will help with the cravings. After being questioned about why I dont get the cravings it accured to me that that was just how I saw it. Theres always a raw substitute.
And as for dinner a huge salad of spinach, mushrooms, corn, beetroot, zucchini, fresh chives and parsley with soaked Wakame seaweed, with an avocado, tomato, seaweed, fresh garlic, ginger, chives dressing blended into a beautiful thick mayo like sauce. Sprinkled with dulse and dehydrated celery bits... it's just devine. Followed by spiralized zuchini with spirulina, maca and flaxseed oil on it.. swamp sludge at its best. Full tummy and ready for a good nights sleep!!
OOOOOhhhhh... I wish I could have a spa and a massage.. i'm jelous. I'll have to settle for a nice hot bath!
