it's funny that theres a post about raw chocolate that i just noticed. the last two days i've been 100% raw but i did make cacao fudge balls and i've been a bit funny today. not really tired but i think i might be getting over cacao or maybe ive just been overworked and i need to catch up on sleep but i think i might avoid cacao for a while. just wondering if anyone ever gets bloated from drinking water sometimes? for some reason it seems to only happen when i'm at work, but i can get really bloated and only when i pee my stomach eventually goes down. i don't know if it's because i drink alot of water when i'm at work or what it is. going for third day at 100 percent tomorrow and going indoor climbing to get some practice before i take on kangaroo point so i'm looking foraward to it and the markets to get my sprout and bean fix.

hi envirovegchick like the name. just thought i'd say hi and congratualtions on your success with raw looks like you're going well and good to see some younger ones getting into it early. are there any good vegan or organic places in brisbane? i am up there sometimes for uni so it'd be handy to know.

funny i just bought some coconut oil today to use on my skin i tried it already and i really like how it gave my skin a glow it almost highlights it. is morning and night use ok? maybe i should use all my acid fruit scraps after to clean my skin. i used to spend so much on cleansers nice to know i can do it simply yet effectively.

hi leif nice to meet you. i think it's better for me to not beat around the bush too and just jump straight in. thanks berry bliss and swami for the encouragement i think i will take it meal by meal from now on that way i can get on the wagon quicker. well today i jumped on the wagon again today except my banana smoothie had soy milk today but other than that its been all raw, usually easiest on my shopping day because there's so many raw things i want to make like lasagne from raw food real world. earlier i made fudge balls out of cacao, almonds, dates and raisins and that seemed to get me all engerised so i went for a 20 minute run between lots of stretching. today i had sprouts and tomatoes and the kitz crackers, very good combination in my opinion. i am looking forward to eating a cucumber with salad tonight too.

hi berry bliss feel free to look around. i think i've been dreading writing this post. after the weekend i had one 2 good raw days but after that it's been all bad.  after doing a 39 hours of work plus uni this week i've been lazily having some cooked food. i've been having muesli and some organic yoghurt again and i have had a tofu burger today and i forget what else. as soon as it comes back to rp i'm going to buy grain damage as i'm sure it will give me some really good info to stay away from any grains. funnily my exercise has been ok i have been for a run 2 days ago. been doing yoga and i went to the gym today and did some weights since a work mate of mine gave me a 5 day free membership. not a big fan of weights usually but i didn't seem to mind it today and after not doing it for a while i went ok. anyway after having my cooked fix on the weekend at another friends 21st i have learnt that a small amount of cooked food any amount leads to more and i will say to myself why not just for today i'll start raw for tomorrow which i used to think was sort of ok because i think to myself each day is a new day to do better but ultimately the more cooked i have the more it goes on so rather than day by day maybe is should take it like hour by hour or meal by meal. tomorrow i have a day off to spend on myself and the plan is 100% and maybe no nuts or seeds plus some laps at the pool.  the other day though at work i've been receiving compliments about my skin which has really made me stoked and more determined to be as raw as possible.
352  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / Re: Which summer fruit are you most looking forward to? on: Wednesday 03 October, 2007
such a difficult question. mangoes or watermelon or pineapple or rockmelon and paw paw for me but also looking forward to grapes and apricots i want to try since i never really ate them unless they were dried. a raw book i read goes on about tropical fruit and how the tropics are mans natural environment and the mood enhancing effects of tropical fruits i'm sure she's right a ripe banana is like a happy pill

is it true that foods with sulphur like onion, dandelion, rocket and prunes help to keep you feeling warm during winter? i know victoria boutenko lives in colorado and the cold isn't a problem for her on raw.

its amazing how people can just treat animals like any other store "product" and they try and get maximum profit for minimum cost. those people must be pure evil to know what they are doing. i saw a cow in a truck driving to work yesterday and i just can't help but think of how they suffer. imagine if we were put in a line ready to enter a slaughterhouse and then tied down before recieving a bolt to the head. i heard how if that doesn't work the first time they need to wait before they can do it again. someday i'm going to buy a cow farm and just let the poor things live.

today has been 100% raw and naturally i'm feeling good. this morning i woke up and did the 5 tibetans then a yoga session then i went to the beach for a while and went for a run and swim and climbing on the rocks again. later i went to tropical fruit world and got a bunch of fruit i've never had before i forget the names besides the sapote but i got pineapple and rockmelon too. i had a frozen black sapote and it was delicious.  for lunch i had some mexican raw crackers with tomato and shallots and i'll have a salad tonight. anyway time for a big nap before work.

not really. i think it might even be a certain japanese plum they use. it's quite sour and salty they salt them. definitely worth a try but use sparingly. i think because plums a rich in citric acid or something they are good for your stomach and are supposed to help with an upset stomach.

thanks jen. i will definitely go check out tropical fruit world maybe this weekend. today was great. no muesli and such a nice day. i started today with the 5 tibetans and some yoga and tai chi then went down to the beach and went for a swim and bouldering along the front of dbah and snapper. i got an organic mango today my first for the season and put it in a smoothie with banana and almond milk yum then i had a spinach salad for lunch followed by a big sleep this afternoon. i accepted an invitation for dinner tonight though so i'll be having japanese tonight. but i think i'll go 100% for a week or so after that. ciao for now.
358  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / Recipes - Meals & Snacks / umeboshi plum paste on: Wednesday 26 September, 2007
i think jen will be excited to know that i talked with spiral foods and there is no heat involved in the making of their umeboshi plum paste so i think it will be a great addition to nori rolls but with the salt only a little. oh and their *ake mushrooms are also dried naturally.

hi everyone. thanks for the encouragement. yesterdays run seems to have left me a little sore but not too bad and i did a nice long yoga session this morning to balance it out. i think recovery is much better on raw. pretty much ate the same today as yesterday nori rolls and salad, i need to do a good shop tomorrow and get a mountain of fruit so i don't have muesli again i need more variety though. does anyone know where to get these fruits harley talks about like jackfruit, sapote and all those exotic ones oh and durian too everyone seems to rave about it and i've never tried one i feel so deprived. i also looked at the 5 tibetan rites and as of tomorrow i'll be doing them morning and night.
anyway i'm off.
