Here is what my daily diet looks like:
-all foods raw, organic-
Breakfast: -1 1/2 cup sprouted quinoa
Lunch: -HUGE salad (spinach, red cabbage, zucchini, yellow summer squash, carrots)
(no dressing)
-2/3 cup broccoli
-2/3 cup cauliflower
-1/4 cup celery
-1/4 avocado
-1 cup sprouted quinoa
Dinner: -7 kiwis (or 1 lb. berries, cherries, peaches, oranges)
-4 to 10 apples (gala is especially crispy and yummy where I live right now)
-1 1/2 cups sprouted flaxseeds (very easy to sprout!)
-1/4 avocado
I know that seems like a lot to chew.....it is!! It takes me forever to chew it all and it's quite a hassle. I used to try to blend things up in a smoothie, but I get ravenous cravings and uncontrolled food lusts when I start eating blended (or dehydrated) food. My blood sugar goes wild at the drop of a hat, because my body cannot process the glucose in fructose properly unless it comes in s-l-o-w-l-y with fiber and water, etc. That's why I have to eat fruit in the p.m., because it makes me super-tired. It's the perfect way to settle me down at night from the high I get from eating sprouts! And yeah, it can be an expensive pain, but I am so grateful that I finally found the dietary answer to all my problems....plus, a great forum to go with it!!
