I'm wondering if it is ok nutritionally to make up a big lot of juice that will last me a few days. Does it lose nutrients if left to sit for any amount of time? I'm trying to get out of cleaning the juicer 4 times a day. Cheers
It really depends on your juicer type and model.
The juice from most of the common juicers on the market won’t last long, in reality it is more like a matter of minutes, rather than hours.
Specialised models like the Oscar Vital Max can keep the nutrients alive for 48 hours but only if you store the juice correctly once extracted. But it is not the same taste as fresh.
I use my Oscar Vital Max four or five times a day and it is a joy to clean,
I have actually timed myself – it takes me around 90 seconds to dismantle, wash and put the thing back together again.
