Title: How did you get your raw online name? Post by: VegiesMakeMeSmile on Monday 28 May, 2007 I bet there are some interesting stories out there so I thought I'd ask you all...
My story for Vegies Make Me Smile is that I'd been raw for a few weeks and we went out to my son's new partner's parents to meet them for the first time and they served up.... KFC. Blurk!!! So I ate like a bird (oh dear, that's funny, but not for the poor KFC bird!) and hated it. We came home and went to bed and that awesome husband of mine who constantly amazes me had turned off the light and I was laying there thinking 'MMmmmmmmmmm I can have raw again tomorrow' and lost in my happy thoughts when he said to me "What are you smiling at?" (How could he tell, the light was off and the room dark!!!) I hadn't realised I was smiling even, but told him it was because I was looking forward to my raw again in the morning. I used to live with and adore a gay man who could say 'sensational' like no other and every time I look at my screen name I think of him.

Grant is guilty of coming up with TotalLeaRaw (because that's what I am!) and I love it! Thanx RawAussieAthlete!

My favourite place was under a weeping willow, by a creek and there were lots of dragonflies. When I would sit there very still they would land on me and I found it fascinating. I could spend hours there, just sitting and waiting for them to come. I would hold my breath when they landed because I didn't want them to fly away.
Emi comes from Electromagnetic Inteference. It's a nic that my beloved husband gave me when he was trying to watch a rugby match and I kept asking questions! lol. The nic comes from when I was a high school in England and I used to wear a furry red bomber jacket (fashion at the time don't you know!) and my best friend from school (Allison) called me Ted and the name stuck. I caught up with her when I went to England at Christmas 2006 and she still calls me Ted. I widened Ted to become TeddyB coz I love Teddy Bears and I had a personal licence plate with TeddyB on my Ford Capri (which I recently sold coz I got a new car). In my new car I have bears on the dash board but didn't keep the TeddyB personal plates as it was time for a change.

Princess - you don't have an egotistical bone in your body. You may be all flaunt on stage, and I'd love to see you, but a more humble person I've yet to meet ^_^ PinkTulip - I'd wondered if you had Dutch history of something, but I love tulips too, and no Dutch in my family tree. i have had the name speedy since i was 10 or 11 ....how did i get it well you will have to wait for that...ha ha ha. more people call me speedy that my christened name. at one stage i tried to get people to call me something else...you know teenage years...anyway the moral of the story dont tell mates you dont like your nickname lol. now i love it....only have trouble in places like airports, near police when someone yells out my name. customs, quaritine and police dogs love me. ha ha ha fruit n shoots ... i follow 80-10-10 i didnt fancy being called 80-10-10 speedy or 811 speedy...so fruit n shoots was what i came up with. My youngest son never goes to pubs any more because he's bald and people seem to take him as a tough guy who wants to be picked on :( He's the sweetest most gentle person you could ever imagine!!! He's pretty muscley, in a non-body-building way, just cos of his job, but other than the bald head which isn't his fault, and one single small arm band tattoo I really can't understand why he gets that treatment. You son might like that part of the secret.
