Hi Everyone.

Its been a long time since I posted a msg you could almost say Im virtually a newbie again!! I have been keeping updated by reading the forum on a daily basis but I hadn't felt ready to post again for a long time.

I got on the raw wagon last year and then feel off big time and in the last week I have got back on by about 80%. Im raw at work but at home I want hot steaming cooked food especially soup. I guess maybe that is because I live in the foot hills of adelaide and its terribly cold and work is heated so eating raw is alot easier.

I have noticed when i eat raw i feel really happy and calm but when I eat cooked food I feel all warm and cosy. I have two conflicting emotions happening here, so I feel like I'm being pulled in two directions. As I have positive associations  with both types of food. Maybe I shouldn't be so hard on myself.

Well I can see you are a all a great bunch of people!

Look forward to getting to know you better

Hey Kimba, welcome!

I am finding winter challenging too, brrrrrrr. This week I have been eating lots through the day and not much at night, seems to take off the pressure of wanting cooked foods.

There is a great crowd in Adelaide. BerryBliss is from A and posts regularly. I'm sure she'll stop in and say hi!

Look forward to reading more about you!

I actually thought about you a number of times Kimba, great to have you back. Just go slowly, eat as much raw as you can, and when you do have cooked food eat homemade veggie soups etc, rather than processed food.
