Ok here are some before and after pics of me, before I began the juice/water fast and results after 15 days...I still have 45 days to go, and going strong...I LOVE IT!!

I took these pictures about 20 min ago..

I cant wait to see the results of the next 45 days, I feel so good, I can see the weightloss, but not only that, I feel so strong inside, no longer controlled by food and using food as comfort, I FEEL SO FREE.

Are you able to supply more info for me, as I only lasted one day on a juice fast, as I was constantly overcome with hunger and feeling lightheaded/faint & sick:

How much water are you drinking a day?
How much juice are you drinking a day?
What sort of juice are you drinking?
Are you eating any solid food at all (yes I know that defeats the purpose but I have to ask)?
Are you still working at job whilst all this is going on?
Have you felt faint or nausea at all (maybe in the early stages)?

I would like to do a juice/water fast one day in the future. I was thinking of going to Hopewood and doing a supervised one.

Wow girl you are STUNNING! You have enthused me to do a juice fast also, i think ill just do 3 days, just as a bit of "body and soul house cleaning"
By the way are you enjoying having your licence?? :)

Thought I would just quickly answer Kittykays questions, but you can find more info in my journal...


I am drinking about 3 litres of water a day, give or take depending on how I feel, I was drinking 12 glasses of juice (about 3 litres) now my body only needs 1 litre a day, or even less, without any side effects or hunger.
I am juicing a lot of fruit, pineapples, apples, oranges, strawberries, watermalon, rockmelon plus celery, carrot, spinnch, brocolli greens, tomatoes, capsicum and cucumbers.
The only soild food I ate was 1 medjool date the other night, not cos I was hungry but becuase the cravings were strong to go through the motions of eating. I talk about modified fasting in my journal, this is where you can incorperate some foods, but I have not done this presonally.
I am working all the time with 3 kiddies running here and there with them all day, oh and my husband keeps my busy too! In the first week detox was high, lots of dizzy and headaches, blurry vission after about 10 days it wasnt so severe....LOL read my journal!

Peta, I am on day 8, and I slipped up about day 3-4 and had something to eat (biscuits, haaaa) I was so hungry or maybe emotions rising and I wasn't ready to deal with them.  My point is, the next day I got up and started again as if nothing happened.  So I don't know if it is technically day 8 because of the hiccup, but who cares.  If you want to start again, start again.  If not leave it for another time.

I went to bed rerading 801010 last night and i had my regular insomnia so ended up reading 3/4 of the book...so not sure wether to do juice feasting or a real concerted effort at 801010. Thanks for the encouragement Annette..its good to hear how well your doing as well.
Your answer to this question may help me to decide BB...why did you choose juice fasting over feasting or 801010?

what a great question Peta, I guess juice fasting is what my body told me to do, it was like a craving, it urgency to it, I just knew it was what I needed to do...strange but true!

Also I felt that I needed a good cleanout, the only way to do that was through fasting...and most importantly before the weightloss, was that I needed to get incontrol of my emotional addictions. I have planned and prepared myslef to follow 801010 when this fast is over and I am all cleaned out, cos I dont want to make my new body sick...I want to feel alive,...I couldnt follow 801010 without first getting the control in my life, cleansing and shrinking my appetite. water fasting would just be mpossibel for me with a little family whom need me constantly, but juice fasting supplies the nutirents straight away, gives enrgy and repairs...plus is yummy.

Thanks!!   I will be back on the forums more in the coming weeks.  I've been working flat out at work for the past 2 months - very little free time to read anything, but it is quietening down now for the rest of the year so I can read and post more often.

I'm also starting a new project i'm excited about that I will post up on RP very soon. Just getting the website off the ground for it.  In summary its a blog/journal of a 6 month raw bodyweight challenge I'm going to put myself through to prove that it is possible to making amazing strength gains in a short space of time on raw food and without weights.

I want other women especailly mothers...to know you can feel fantastic again, I have 3 littleones, and it has been hard fasting...but I did it, this forum is so inpirational, with so much love and support and if we all work together in love and learning...anything is possible...I am still aiming at another 24 kilos to loose...I feel confident I will reach my goal in a few more weeks.

You were always beautiful BB, but now you just look truly amazing. You can see in these old pics just how much you have changed.

If you compare them to that divine goddess photo of you, you are a completely different person. And not just on the outside (and that in itself is a huge difference!), like most women become when they go on a diet. You have been working on YOU. You have a glow about you now, your inner radiance shining out.

Just the tone of your posts over time has shown you are evolving into the more self assured, happy and strong soul you were always meant to be.

It is a good thing that you have these pics. It is easy to forget just how far we have come, how much we have changed. It helps to strengthen our resolve to never let it happen again, and to also be grateful for today.
