Title: Juicing beetroot Post by: caramba on Saturday 03 November, 2007 Silly question that been bugging me for ages... Do you have to peel beetroot to juice beetroot in a Samson? I read somewhere you have to peel b/root...? ? Title: Re: Juicing beetroot Post by: BerryBliss on Saturday 03 November, 2007 Hey beautiful baby goddess!
I never peel beetroot (hmmm yummy) I dont know what kind of juicer you have, I just have a small juiceman junior, and that works fine....beet skin isnt tough, my juicer does the watermeon and rockmelon skins too! Hope you feeling good today...warm thoughts of your little chickpea! love BB XXXX Title: Re: Juicing beetroot Post by: Michele :-) on Saturday 03 November, 2007 Yep, I juice beetroot in my Oscar with the skin on. I will try it with a few organic beetroot tomorrow. . Title: Re: Juicing beetroot Post by: caramba on Monday 10 March, 2008 I also found out you can juice zucchinis (well, of course you can...but somehow I thought they might not be very 'juicy') I added apple, beet & carrot for some flavour...but apparently zucchini are a good source of calcium & vitamin A.
We got a whole lot of zucchini in our co-op box and I never knew what to do with them before... |
