Title: underwear? Post by: aguacate on Monday 19 November, 2007 what is it for anyway?
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: RawGreenGoddess on Monday 19 November, 2007 ohhh AG you are so funny....i love going without it..personally...
at times though re-if a dress or something is real sheer i don em..or pants that are on the tighter side...for obvious reasons...lol not sure if you are referring to uppers or lowers(underwear)...or just in general?? some underwear is just so pretty that i love to wear it....you? Title: Re: underwear? Post by: chelle on Monday 19 November, 2007  who knows! I personally like to be 'free and breezy' as often as possible (have changed from free and easy as Im not sure about the 'easy' part!). Although, I think some people could benefit from wearing some once in a while...think Britney, Paris, Lindsay rofl
I love the random lighthearted things you say aguacate Title: Re: underwear? Post by: aguacate on Monday 19 November, 2007 yea some are totally cool looking and fashionable.
i never wear it for dancing under the tights, and then one day i forgot to bring it to change, and after that day of accidentally not wearing undies i just stopped wearing them. lol i just thought like, what is it for anyway? Title: Re: underwear? Post by: RawGreenGoddess on Monday 19 November, 2007 i guess also...for the women who do menstruate they wear underwear, for obvious reasons...it has its uses....
fun to slowly strip tease out of....maybe???mwahh harr harrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Title: Re: underwear? Post by: chelle on Monday 19 November, 2007 haha that dance story just reminded me of something...
I was at a ballet concert when I was about 9 and I wore the costume there, tights on, no underwear underneath so yeah, same deal as you aguacate...And afterwards, they asked for the costume back, and I realised I hadnt brought any clothes. AT ALL to change into! Someone graciously lent me a rather large sweater to wear with my tights and ballet slippers home. Funniest thing was that we got a video copy of the performance from a friend in the audience, and the host at the end thanks everyone for coming, got prompted from the side of the stage and yells- "Oh wait! Have you all collected your children? We have a little girl backstage with no clothes!" Its hilarious now, but it sure wasnt when I had to walk down the street dressed in an oversized sweater and no pants! Title: Re: underwear? Post by: FreedomB on Monday 19 November, 2007 Well I've never worn any 'uppers,' as you put it RGG rofl There's nothing there to support so I don't bother. I used to wear 'crop tops' but I don't see the point. And I don't wear anything down the bottom either, even under skirts (though I'm a fan of long flowy skirts, not minis!)
Oh and I have a 'no clothers' story from my childhood too! I lived in a little country town and we had a christmas pageant down the main street each year. When I was about 9, my primary school's float had a gymnastics theme so I was wearing a little leotard thingy and not much else... my Mum and i left early then Dad came down to watch the parade and meet us afterwards and we were going to walk around for a while and enjoy christmas festivities. It was Dad's job to bring my clothes but, you guessed it, he forgot them! So I took his jacket and I was walking around wearing a leotard with an enormous jacket over the top. It was sooo cold! Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Michele :-) on Monday 19 November, 2007 Mate, I wear em. Sure do - big baggy cotton suckers from the bargin bin in our local department store. I look like a right old lady! won't catch me without them tho. Uh uh nah. Oh and uppers, oh yes, I sure do. 3 children and many years of breastfeeding kind of brings the need of some over shoulder boulder holders. Yes sirree, it sure does.
Ahem.  rofl :uhuh:   Title: Re: underwear? Post by: rawconnection on Monday 19 November, 2007 Funny you mentioned this. I hardly wear a bra at home or if i go to my local shop to scare a few people. I simply dont care i grew up in a suburb where noone cares to wear anything. Somettimes i think we should be braless and let them flop around lol but other times i do feel embarrased. But if someone looks i just hold my head up high as if to telepathically say i dont care my man doesnt so why should i care. Men do stare when i dont wear a bra and the women have smirks on their faces. So i just walk as if i got a bra on to detract the attention away form my breasts. I somettimes wear non supportive cotton bras and they still make me look like i dont wear a bra so who cares.
But when it comes to my grandma undies which i got used to during pregnacny to cover my tummy as it make me feel comfortable i still wear them. I feel so comfortable having sometthing pull back my tummy a little. But for the first time last night i forgot to bring my undies to the bathrioom from down stairs and i couldnt be bothered running back down to get them i put on my pants without them on and i felt liberated. There is a sexual feelign about it. It didnt get any opposing from my husband. LOL Title: Re: underwear? Post by: rawconnection on Monday 19 November, 2007 Everytime i eat raw i feel like i want to be naked anyway likes its natural.
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: waterberry on Monday 19 November, 2007 Hehe, interesting topic!!
- what's it for? - Well... either for prettiness, for support, or for cleanliness. I can't think of any other reasons, other than for habit keeping / being normal / living up to societies expectations... but really, we're raw here, c'mon! That said, I do wear the stuff. Erm, uppers (lol RGG, great terminology!) for support because they ache if they don't have it, lowers probably for cleanliness more than anything else. Although I do have my motivated by prettiness days as well :) Title: Re: underwear? Post by: VegiesMakeMeSmile on Monday 19 November, 2007 what is it for anyway? If you don't wear underwear then your outerwear would be your underwear too, so that's what underwear's for!!! There are some hilarious answers here - well done girls rofl I accidentally bought some granny knickers recently and, being a little scroogy, was going to wear them but David forbade me. He rarely makes any stand on anything so I take notice when he does lol When he was a roof tiler he saw some interesting sights from on top of the rooves - people weren't aware he was there for a start. Well one day there were 4 of them working and one started to laugh and called out 'Oy, come over here!!!' so they all piled over to that side of the roof. There was a bra hanging on the washing line next door with dimensions such had never been seen before by any of them. MASSIVE apparently. They were all cacking themselves with laughter for almost half an hour over it, and sniggering long after that. Every time they nearly got their breath back another of them thought up something else to say about the thing. None of them had quiet voices, I can only hope the poor lady wasn't indoors embarrassed by the suggestions for its use, such as a hammock for twins. I can't remember the rest but it still brings a smile. Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Savvy Womyn on Tuesday 20 November, 2007 Erm, uppers (lol RGG, great terminology!) for support because they ache if they don't have it I read somewhere recently that if we spent less time wearing a bra, 1. they wouldn't sag as much, because the muscles would be stronger, 2. they wouldn't hurt anymore for the same reason. Apparently we weaken our breasts by wearing a bra. It also mentioned that bra's are a high cause of breast cancer because they restrict blood flow and can lead to a build up of toxins in the fatty tissue. I still wear a bra, but not as often. Title: Re: underwear? Post by: aguacate on Tuesday 20 November, 2007 I read the opposite. that not wearing a bra makes them sag.
i wear a bra to prevent saggage. I'm actually slightly insecure about it because I used to be a big girl. My cup size went from a D (pre fresh life) to an A/B (post fresh life). Now I am skinny, and they were never as perky as I would like them to be... like deflated balloons. =( they're not really bad tho because now they are like too small to sag anyway. =) no one has ever complained about em, but i mean, who would? lol then again i think a lot of my ideals of what someone is supposed to look like is slightly skewed from growing up in LA and being raised by the TV... Every girl I have ever met is not as bad looking as they think they are. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if everyone looked like what they think they looked like, and what people would really look like if everyone looked like how they think they look. =) i found out the most beautiful girl i know is insecure about her appearance. I was soo surprised. that we live in a society where we are so focused on what is wrong with us that we need to stop and recognize how beautiful we all are! every single person here is so beautiful that i have met, and i don't even care what you look like. <3 Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Sweetpea on Tuesday 20 November, 2007 what is it for anyway? Knickers: To stop you doing a Britney Spears when you get out of your car. Bra: To stop the violent wobble and stop all those dirty old (& young) men perving at your chest. I hate bras and never wear them at home or when relaxing. However, I have to wear one out, otherwise I have to walk around with my arms clenched against my sides or arms crossed over my chest - which just looks silly and is uncomfortable. I remember once I went out without a bra and went to the railway station to find out train/trip times. No matter how hard I tried to make eye contact, the station master spent the next ten minutes addressing the answers to my breasts. When I was a teenager, snogging the opposite sex in the back of a cinema was a popular pastime. All of the girls had terrible problems with boys fumbling with and undoing the back of their bras. I use to wear a bra that did up at the front, it was so funny because most boys at the time had NO idea you could buy bras that did up at the front………….so I managed to thwart many of their dastardly plans. Title: Re: underwear? Post by: aguacate on Tuesday 20 November, 2007 okay, but it's not like we are going to pull a britney if we are wearing pants, right?
yet we still wear underwears under our pants. There has got to be a scientific reason as to why we wear underwear, right? Title: Re: underwear? Post by: chelle on Tuesday 20 November, 2007 All of this is info I jut gleaned from the net. I cant be sure of the authenticity of the claims
Women traditionally wore skirts, not pants and usually did not wear underwear (typically if they were poor). As time wore on, it was a luxury and the rich would have quite elaborate undergarments. If you could afford it, pants were worn underneath the skirt in cold weather, or if going horse riding. Even up until the 1950's, women in countries with regional traditional dress such as areas of Germany still did not even wear any, and some isolated villages it is noted that they still dont. I found some info also attributed to a 'scientist' in the 1800's who wrote that though unerwear was becoming a popular idea, a 'trend' (just as in the fashion trends of today) women should NOT wear any underwear so as to allow moisture to evaporate in the area, and to prevent infections. He did say however that where the weather brought insects, undergarments were a good idea. I found less info on men, though it appears the underwear idea orginally came from ancient times in warm climates where clothing was merely a loin cloth, and the women sometimes also wore a band around their top half. This was for protection and also to retain modesty. It would seem underwear evolved from the orginal idea that we need to cover up our nakedness, to having more practical uses. Now you would think one specific thing for women that would indicate the necessity for undergarments would be menstruation, right? Well traditionally, women did not wear anything under their skirts and would simply bleed into their clothes. There is apparently one village known in India where this is still common today, though the men dont pay any attention because it is considered normal practice. Also noted was a remote tribe in the Amazon where there is no word for woman in their language, but instead women are referred to as 'person with a red streak down the leg'. So I figure underwear evolved from a necessity in certain climates, to becoming more of a modesty issue. And apparently women did not menstruate in the past as much as they do these days (for many reasons- chilbirth, diet, etc) but now in our modern society it appears there is a necessity for most women to wear underwear because of this particular factor. It has also just been commonly accepted as an essential piece of clothing and no-one questions it. If you dont wear skirts, or menstruate then you dont really have a scientific reason to wear any, down the bottom half anyway. That said, I also believe bras can help reduce sagging (see tribes around the world that go topless), and mens underpants can provide support when playing sports. Pants and underwear? If you're wearing thick fabric pants that are rough, underwear would come in handy to protect your delicate areas. Still, I hate wedgies. Title: Re: underwear? Post by: waterberry on Tuesday 20 November, 2007 There's a question of amount of laundry to do too...
I'll quite happily wear the same pair of pants for up to 4 days and not wash them, just change underwear! I don't think I could do that without wearing the underwear :) Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Michell on Tuesday 20 November, 2007 Interesting topic! :D
I find that although bras can be a nuisance, uncomfortable (and expensive!) that they are pretty much a necessary evil of the modern world if you aren't completely perky or over a size B cup (unless you're living somewhere no one thinks twice about not wearing a bra!). It definitely reduces the amount of wanted/unwanted male/female/general attention if you do wear one. Personally I will wear a super-supportive one at work (office envionment) for modesty's sake and (because I would probably be told I needed to wear one if I didn't!) and then take it off as soon as I remember when I get home, for comfort and to let the lymph glands around my breasts and armpits 'breathe'. I read somewhere once that if you do wear a bra try not to wear it for more than 8-12 hours a day, which most people probably would do anyway. Re. undies - yep, definitely wear them!! :) Mainly for cleanliness as I like to wear my pants more than one day in a row and also because the pants have zips! :D I'm not much of a skirt wearer otherwise would probably go without, otherwise like my good old cotton ones. :) If you follow natural family planning and cleanliness is your main concern then there are some interesting books out there (can't remember the name of the one I read sorry) that detail the things you should expect during your cycle so that you can anticipate when undies might be a good idea - i.e. when you are ovulating and just prior things can get a wee bit more messy than normal if you know what I mean. Otherwise there are lots of days when you should be fine! Go the natural girls - if you can and like it good on you, one day I might ditch zippy pants and join you!! :D Michelle Title: Re: underwear? Post by: aguacate on Tuesday 20 November, 2007 stretchy pants are back in. ;)
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: RoarOnRaw on Wednesday 21 November, 2007 I love this topic.....it's made me larf, and larf, and larf. You are all funny.
Personally I like wearing bras and undies......some are REALLY pretty. They also make me feel sexy.........but I MUST admit, my hubby thinks I'm pretty sexy without wearing them!!! LOL He says why have any underwear when all he wants to do is take them off!!! Ok, I'll stop there. More than most of you probably are wanting to know. What I wanted to add to this topic is that my hubby saw on one of those 'news' programs which talked about cellulite.....and one of the ways to reduce cellulite is to NOT wear undies. Now I don't know the scientific reasoning behind it (or whether it was a ploy by my hubby for me NOT to wear undies rofl), but there's a reason for me not to wear undies. Well, I'll just have to start being fancy-free at times. Luv Rita  Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Savvy Womyn on Wednesday 21 November, 2007 What I wanted to add to this topic is that my hubby saw on one of those 'news' programs which talked about cellulite.....and one of the ways to reduce cellulite is to NOT wear undies. Maybe it has to do with circulation? Title: Re: underwear? Post by: aguacate on Wednesday 21 November, 2007 i haven't been wearing any for at least a week straight. It's interesting because if I were dating someone right now i'd probably wear them more often because i think they are sexy and fun... I am just lazy and this way of living seems more comfy, covenient, and practical. It just makes sense. it's weird because I am the kind of person who has undies matching with every bra... call me a feminist, but now I am thinking it's just another one of those evil female foot binding status symbol thingies our society creates.
::burns undies:: noooo but they're so cuuute!! ; ) Title: Re: underwear? Post by: rawconnection on Wednesday 21 November, 2007 I was watching the newer version american pie today the naked one they call it i think.
All the gorgeous fake girls had to strip off and be naked. It seemed so natural to tehm to be naked i almost barfed at how dirty movies are getting. Anyhow they seem to shwo it more and more in comedies its like its now becoming the norm. THey all had to run naked and their boobies were flopping around and not so bad but most of them looked natural and not plastic and it made me think do we really need a bra. Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Pinky on Thursday 22 November, 2007 Okay you guys are going to think I am a twit.
When I was about 25ish I was going through the no undies stage (never not worn a bra boobs too big) anyway one particular day i was wear nickers (as my two year old calls them) they where loose nickers the comfy ones (most prob classed as granny ones) I went to the toilet forgot I had them on and peed all over them. We were out at Pete's siters place so I was so imbarressed. At least I had a bag or two that I could hide them in. Now I am going to go and hide behind the couch Nah it was an accident oh well. so lession learnt for me make sure you havnt accidently put them on hehehehehe. Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Dmetri on Thursday 22 November, 2007 Funny post Pinky... twit no, just human.
Cool topic  Just had to add some male input... hmm sounded a wee bit rude  I never wore them as a child. I grew up on a beautiful property where my brothers/sister and I ran bare foot and unconfined undie-wise! We were made to wear shoes and undies when we started high school though. Took a bit of getting used to. I guess after that I just sort of accepted them but years after I just stopped wearing them. From memory a surfer friend of mine influenced me to think about why I was wearing them. Anyway have been free-balling ever since  Undies are just one of those many things that we are conditioned to believe we need, I feel... like toilet paper - have been to India and was enlightened heehee! Namaste Title: Re: underwear? Post by: FreedomB on Thursday 22 November, 2007 Rock on Dmtree! I am down to 3 squares a toilet paper at a time, my Mum doesn't know how I manage it but if I accidentally grab more it is way more uncomfortable... I'd like to get down to none, but maybe that's a bit easier for guys, lol!
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: garfield22 on Thursday 22 November, 2007 I vote for squat toilets(Italy, Thailand and India have the way:) so much cleaner and hygienic too(no toilet paper involved)!
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: rawconnection on Thursday 22 November, 2007 Your kidding right? i went to one of those squatters overseas and there was poop and peepee everywhere all over and toilet paper rolls all over the walll and toilet area. I almost vomited. So i had to wait the whole bus drive to the next town where they had real toilets and were clean.
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Pinky on Thursday 22 November, 2007 Sorry I will always use toilet paper too. No way am I not using it I dont use shampoo and conditioner so that is my contribution.
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: aguacate on Thursday 22 November, 2007 i just learned how to pee standing, and i am really stoked about it.
bring on the squatters!! Title: Re: underwear? Post by: RawGreenGoddess on Thursday 22 November, 2007 squatters rock...and using the wash hose after is the ultimate..so much cleaner..yup bring em on,,,the mess RC,is just how some people are...ive seen some standard toilets in a very bad state...id rather go squat under a tree than use them like that....
squatting gives you much better evacuation..hee hee on that note i gotta go.,. hey AG whats tough about learning to pee standing, stand n pee...no brainer huh?lol.... Title: Re: underwear? Post by: ~Kelly~ on Thursday 22 November, 2007 ive traveled a fair bit in asia and ive only seen a couple of toilets that were really gross. bout the same as in australia, ive been in a few australian public toilets in my time that were pretty rank. i dont think it has much to do with the design, in fact your hand doesnt contact your butt if you use a hose in a squatt toilet, and your butt isnt sitting on a seat which may be germy.
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: aguacate on Friday 23 November, 2007 lol idk why I was just raised like a princess all my life...
seriously like i've only done a couple loads of laundry in my whole life... and i don't even remember how to do it. ... you don't even know what a sheltered life i have been raised like sucha tiny little pink princess... but whatever. that was in the past. now i'm free to experience anything and everything. no undies, toilet seats, shoes, conventional holidays.... * it. =P i'm still a princess... but now i'm free... to stand while i pee. Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Dmetri on Friday 23 November, 2007 Hey aguacate,
Nice melons! Princess or not you almost had me *ing my pants reading your posts rofl cheers for your medicinal words! Squatting yep have to say I luv it ... have been kangaroo'in it for years, although I found it a struggle when wearing a caste a few months ago. I also have a thing about peeing on the ground... odd yes, I am an oddly fruit tree but i seriously feel something when I pee on the ground - some sort of connection that makes me feel all earthy and alive... true true i wouldn't * in your pocket  Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Jenergy on Friday 23 November, 2007 Call me strange but I love wearing bras. I just do not feel comfy without them. I slept in them for years and years. It was great!
I have just read this thread from start to finish and larfed all the way through it! Hehehehe. xoxoxox Title: Re: underwear? Post by: FreedomB on Friday 23 November, 2007 I used to sleep in undies and a crop top, mainly to save time getting dressed in the morning, lol! But now I can't stand the thought... give me FREEDOM!! rofl
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: RawGreenGoddess on Friday 23 November, 2007 oh sleeping nudie is the absolute ultimate isnt it...
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: VegiesMakeMeSmile on Friday 23 November, 2007 Only if you're XXX - otherwise you get tickles where you don't want them rofl
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: RawGreenGoddess on Friday 23 November, 2007 oh MMaysie you are hilarious..too true i guess....mwah harr harr
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: VegiesMakeMeSmile on Friday 23 November, 2007 I suppose I could try plaiting it? Little neat, orderly braids.
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: FreedomB on Friday 23 November, 2007 Oh May that bought back a memory for me! When I was in year 4 at school I was in the toilets one day trying desperately to plait my hair in front of the mirror but it just wasn't long enough so I walked out in a huff. A group of year 7 girls who thought they were soooo clever came up to me and said "what do you hate about your hair?" I, of course, said I wished it was easier to plait. They all started falling about in hysterics and making comments I completely didn't understand... I just walked off bewildered and annoyed. It was much later that I thought about what they had been saying and realised that they were'nt referring to the hair on my head!! rofl
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Rainbow Egret on Saturday 24 November, 2007 This topic just bought and smile to my face and made me larf lots. You are all so funny.
I haven't worn a bra for years. I wear crop tops when it is warmer and just nice singlets under things when it is cooler. Even crop tops sometimes make me feel like I can't breath and I don't like that feeling of restriction at all. As for undies I used to wear just normal ones but my man has now got me wearing G-Strings and to me they are comfy now. Why shouldn't a girl feel sexy for her man besides he loves my butt  I am just starting to squat on the toilet and I've only stood to pee when I was pregnant and couldn't go any other way. Will have to try it again. Thanks guys for a topic that brought a smile to my face. Lots of love & Hugs Tracey Title: Re: underwear? Post by: VegiesMakeMeSmile on Saturday 24 November, 2007 Oh poor Freedom!!! That was mean of them!!!
When I worked at directories I had a heap of 'boyfriends' - usually about 7 at any one time, and told them all they were my number 1, which they took as meant - they knew it was a tie. And they knew they were behind David. They were all in their early 20s which is the age group I get on with best of all. Anyway, 1 of them who I have to admit I was particularly sweet on, was this gorgeous hunk who was a little shy, though not too quiet. He was Burmese and had the yummiest hair on the planet, and I often sat next to him. In directories you can't talk, the calls are constant, but you can have an unbelievably stunted conversation on paper. You can write at most 3 words between calls so you can imagine the conditions. We used to laugh so much, but that wasn't allowed. If you got a mystery caller they could make you lose your bonus for laughing!!! So we had to stifle it. Well one day (as frequently happened I was asked for a XXX place named Brazilian Butterfly. I wrote to Rex during the next 8 calls "What on earth could be butterfly like about having your hair ripped out by the roots?" and he started to giggle, which was not a sensible thing to do to me cos it just encourages me more. So I wrote "I trim mine", and between the next few calls produced a pair of scissors from my handbag. They've only ever been used to cut paper, but it was the thought that counted. Then we were both laughing, and stifling it to take our calls. And I wrote "note the round ended blades, with safety corners?" "And here's the next part of my equipment" and produced a comb. You can imagine the state we were in. And then I produced a little mirror and managed to speak because we both had the few seconds with nobody on the line at the same time "This is so I can see it's neat". We just about passed out through lack of air trying to still speak to the customers and not burst a blood vessel each. In the end he had to log off, which is a big no no, but better that than lose his bonus. There were a lot of laughs over time working there that we shouldn't have had. My boyfriends kept me sane that's for sure. And I've still kept my notebooks with the conversations in for a laugh. What a long story. Sorry guys lol Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Jenergy on Sunday 25 November, 2007 LOL Funny May! Loved it...
xxoxox Title: Re: underwear? Post by: waterberry on Sunday 25 November, 2007 rofl I love this thread... such great humour :)
May you particularly cracked me up with your XXX butterfly story. Butterflies must be sadists, not having hair themselves - they just like to laugh at the others trying to achieve that state! I'll agree with the consensus on squatting toilets throughout asia - they are great and sooo clean. Although using the one on the overnight train in Thailand was a bit of a challenge balance wise, mwa-har-har. I laughed in Japan, not all of the public toilets were designed with doors/walls that would block views from passers-by. A little embarrassing! Can't figure out how some of you could/can sleep comfortably whilst wearing underwear. PJs are even a stretch at times :) Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Jenergy on Sunday 25 November, 2007 I went braless today and did not like it one bit! After reading this thread I decided that I had to give it a shot... I got sweaty where they errrr fall a little! and they hurt. I can feel them looking up at me saying 'what did you do that for?' and they are feeling all victimised and unsafe. Going back to a bra tomorrow I tell you.
xoxoxo Title: Re: underwear? Post by: RoarOnRaw on Monday 26 November, 2007 Oh, Jenny, you made me laugh.....and wince with pain!! LOL
Yes, I'm all for wearing a bra too. Not only are they pretty apparel, but, yeah, walking.....let alone running.......without a bra is NOT the best way for me either. OUCH. After two kids 'sucking the life out of them', rofl it's best that they are kept nice and cosy in a bra......LOL Luv Rita  Title: Re: underwear? Post by: oxygen on Monday 26 November, 2007 Seems to be a distinct lack of guys posting in this thread...;-)
Come on chaps...what's wrong with you? I prefer not to wear underwear...aint always practical though...some occasions though it's simply a must not to wear any. At my recent wedding a bunch of us "frocked up" in kilts. On pain of death my Scottish-Highlander mate informed me that you never wear underwear under a kilt. If asked what you are wearing under your kilt you smile and say "shoes and socks". He also informed me that since I had never worn one before it would be wise to practise seating postures.... He gave me plenty of "tips" including the fact that a kilt can snap female underwear elastic at 100 metres... You actually have to wear a kilt to understand these facts and the sheer joy of freedom they offer... Alas the Gendarmes (Da cops..Da Fuzz) arrived at 1.30 AM due to a noise complaint (fair enuff). A few of the kilt-wearing lads went out to converse with the constabulary. The young female cop sitting in the passenger side of the patrol car made the mistake of asking "Big Luke" what does one wear under a kilt... She now knows....;-) John Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Jenergy on Monday 26 November, 2007 rofl LOL. I got an email a little while back showing exactly what men wear under their kilts. It was a photo taken of a guy in a parade and his kilt blew up. Photo taken from the back. Very cute. I had it on my desktop for awhile there...
xooox Title: Re: underwear? Post by: RawGreenGoddess on Monday 26 November, 2007 oh Jennie that sounds a bit nasty.....ouch ouch.....
oh i agree walking and running -a bra is important for breast stability....but cute little dresses etc like halter tops its great no bra,for me anyway...cos i have little err boobs.....but some tops sit nicer with a bra....sleeping naked is great....i find i actually sleep better too,cos im not overheated with clothes..and our body temp needs to drop a little in order to sleep well... oh John....kilt wearing 101..thats funny....i think a man in a kilt, worn with confidence its veeeeerrrrrrrry sexy.... Title: Re: underwear? Post by: FreedomB on Monday 26 November, 2007 Well I've never worn a kilt but I'm wearing a skirt right now with nothing under it. My mum said to me a few weeks ago "now, I just want to say that since it's in warm, skirt-wearing weather now, be careful how you sit down. Even if you don't care if people see up it, it might be embarrassing for them." (Yes, this did happen last summer.) My mum is so cute sometimes!
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: Rawgasm on Friday 30 November, 2007 Seems to be a distinct lack of guys posting in this thread...;-) When have guys ever been into undies and bra? NEVER! Yes it does feel more sexy with pants rubbing against the easily simulated parts. Guys wear undies for the primary of wet dreams and cover up their hard on! However When I was in Byron Bay I hardly ever worn any undie that felt SO good! There were plenty of topless girl lying on the beach as well, did not ONE give me a hard on! Hows that for guys input? Title: Re: underwear? Post by: RawGreenGoddess on Friday 30 November, 2007 mmm your new name seems appropriate, lol
Title: Re: underwear? Post by: FreedomB on Friday 30 November, 2007 I was working last night so I thought I'd better put some undies on (I work dressing up as a giant teddy bear, in a suit that other people wear, and I work up quite a sweat!)
They were so uncomfortable!! How do people wear them everyday? How did I ever wear them every day (and every night, too?) Title: Re: underwear? Post by: oxygen on Friday 30 November, 2007 Ummmm....eeerrrrrrr....ummmm...

Title: Re: underwear? Post by: aguacate on Saturday 01 December, 2007 hey freedom, i had a job as a mascot, too once. I wore a gigantic bee costume. it was a good workout to say the least. dancing with the kids and handing out prizes. the senior citizens LOVE the mascots for some reason. they love to slow dance with it and the ladies love to flirt with the bee. i don't know why. it was cool. there was a fan inside the head, and sometimes they gave me an ice pack to wear underneath so i wouldn't get hot as fast, but it still got kind of hot. =) interesting experience. =)
i have not been wearing panties for a few weeks now. it is so much easier. If i had it my way, it would be leotard and tights all day every day<3 it would be kind of an expensive way to live though as tights are delicate and they tear. =( if I do cardio I wear stretch pants usually with a pair of shorts over. |
