no probs!!! v, pushemov is just an email name i started when i was doing some testing at the AIS a few years back. i was making fun of how much drug use is in world class sport.

v, pushemov was an imaginary track cyclist from east block europe, serving a drug suspension.

he was notorious for bashing people. 'roid rage'!

just a laugh between mates.

gday harley here. im still in far north queensland feasting on winter harvests. back in adelaide for spring. 'organically grown' on st bernards road magill is the best shop in adelaide. BY FAR!!

great produce and clinton the owner is well clued up on the raw deal. he is a fruit coniseur.

a few of us live in norwood aka"fruit triangle" . it has abundant produce in summer, spring and autumn. we ride our bikes, devastate local fruit supplies and worship the sun.

its great to finally have an ozzie site!!

raw food is magic, if you want a life of magic , then this path is for you!!!

its interesting to note that arni has admitted to being a steroid 'garbage dump'
and he promotes a vegetarian , vegan diet. saying it provides more than enough protein etc. and he goes on to say " im not sure where this hype about protein started from, maybe its money driven?"

good on ya arnie! i hope your heart doesnt fall soon.

there isnt even a word on the planet for protein deficiency. i associate with doctors worldwide, csiro and uni lab rats etc.etc. not one single word!!

yet we have to murder animals for protein?

getting my protein from fruit has let me cycle 1243km on 51:30 minutes on fruit and water and no stimulants.

i ran adelaide marathon , 9 hours after placing 2nd in the SA 24 hour solo mountain bike champs. i got 11th at the nationals and rode the 4th fastest lap time.out of 180 entrants.

fruit power. raw results. want more? hit the *en raw!

thats a great analogy piers with regards to the "bike". as a vegan for 4 years,

i have found that by eating raw i fly and eat cooked , i feel cooked. so for me when temtped by a craving (residues leaving my bloodstream) i remind myself of the pain that cooked food will provide vs the sheer magic pleasure that raw provides. i have binged out on both. i ate 103 mangoesteens the other day and felt a little tired and layed on the beach for a bit, then went for a run up some super steep hills,

i had some rice and tofu burgers back in april, tasted great for a few minutes and then wham! bloated gut, uncontrollable thirst, interference with social interactions, the 'magic ' got switched off, really tired, heavy legs, slight frustrated feeling, slow on the bike, reduced aerobic power, unmotivated, dry skin, next morning puffy eyes, croaky voice and it took a few hours to get back to normal. i wrote down a list of things associated with cooked food and how it makes me feel. then i wrote down how raw makes me feel and the magic moments that just keep popping up!

its human nature to take things for granted, ie : its a sunny day then sunny month , soon we say im sick of this sun, its boring,i want rain. and then it rains , gets cold and dreary and we long for the sun again. obviously we need the bad to appreciate the good. but when the bad is self inflicated, you dont need to pysically put it in the body, you can just close your eyes and remind yourself of how a certain thing makes you feel.

write it down when you feel dodge after eating cooked sludge. then you have a contract with expected conditions .

so to summarise what im saying : to ditch a negative habit ,first you have to accept its negative through your own conclusions and then ASSOCIATE MORE PAIN THAN PLEASURE to it. then change becomes not a should, could or will but A MUST!!

i just ran a 1;22;35 half marathon on raw. thats a PB for me. and with the lab tests i have done recently , raw has given me the best aerobic capacity of my life. as an athlete, more pleasure when im competing means more PAIN for my competitors.
and for me, that tastes almost as good as durian!!

:D we dont have room for a full time tenant at the nora street durian clinic, but we welcome raw/ vegan crew needing a place to crash on their way through adelaide.
we are 5 km out of the city and located in the " bermuda, golden fruit triangle" its a triangle suburb, perimetred by 3 main roads. amongst the houses are the best fruit trees in adelaide (ie quality kg's per street). figs, grapes, fejoas, persimmons, maccadamias, almonds, apples, pears, apricots, peaches, nectarines, oranges, grapefruit, plums and 1 avocado tree!

grab a bowl, grab your shoes, its time to eat!

:D i would have to say, chanthaburi in thailand. or rayong. both have week long fruit festivals, celebrating the durian season. they have durian eating comps, 3$ hotels on the beach (rayong) 5$ 1 hour massages, super friendly fruit loving thai crew. but the main draw card is the off the scale smorgasboard of fruits on offer . and the crazy cheap prices.  under 1$ aus per kg for all fruits. mangosteen 60c a kilo, rambutan 20c a kilo, durian (5 varieties) 60c-1$ a kilo.

one lunch i had 10 different varieties of mangoes. one dinner i had 5 different types of durian.

i ate durian in waterfalls, riding my bike, walking, sitting on the gutter, in the blazing sun, monsoonal downpours, on the beach and in the ocean under a full moon.
