1  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / Re: Craving for Cooked Foods on: Friday 21 September, 2007
As I am reading this, my son is cooking home-made pizza. The warm, crusty, cheesey smells are wafting down the hall . . .   shrug

So I am in my room, with the window open, focusing on living RAW!!!   ohyeah

Hey, you guys - one thing you should know about us girls is that we are very curious!   huh  You put "Men Only" in the title, and you better know we are going to read it and find out what you guys are talking about!   rofl

(And I wouldn't give Harley a hard time if I were you - any one of us girls would have him in a second!)

I found an awesome rawcipe on Youtube the other day - Ani Phyo's recipe for a Fuzzy Navel. It is DELICIOUS!

Too true!  I was 100% raw for months, then I visited relatives and it was just impossible to stay raw without causing a lot of family trouble.  rolleyes  So I was part raw, part cooked food for about a week. Then when I went back home to my cooked-food family I didn't go back to 100% because it was just easier to go along with the flow. And I felt normal. I felt fine.

A few weeks later my family left for a week and I was home alone, so I decided to go back to 100% raw. I forgot how WONDERFUL it feels to be RAW! And I forgot how yucky "normal" and "fine" feels. (Poor cooked food eating people - they don't know what they're missing!)

That does it for me - I'm RAW forever now!    yahh

7  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / my friend has cancer - please help! on: Tuesday 30 January, 2007
My dear friend, who is a vegetarian - but cooked food, and not vegan - has been diagnosed with cancer. I don't think she has ever heard of going raw - until now. I'm telling her about it! But I was wondering if any of you have experienced healing from cancer by going raw?

Please direct me to any encouraging testimonials or websites that you know of also. Thank you SO much!

I'm in! It sounds like great fun!   cheesy   I so love to camp out! I just want to make sure there is at least one plant with large leaves (to wear) 'cuz I don't want to go around starkers!  LOL!
10  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / Re: my daughter is going raw! on: Thursday 25 January, 2007
Hi, RawDancer!   cheesy

My daughter is 11 years old - tall and slender, too. She is 5'4" (1.625 meters) tall, and willowy, like a model! She surely isn't going raw to lose weight, but just to be healthy. Although she did comment last night that she hopes to leave her competition in the dust next summer - she runs track and field.  cheesy  Harley is her inspiration!  (Thanks, Harley!  kiss )

By the way, is that a real kangaroo you are kissing? How totally cool! I've never seen one in real life, but I've always wanted to - they are soooo cute!

Thanks, friends!

I have more good news: my husband (who is unhealthy, carnivorous, and very overweight) has decided to eat only fruits and veggies for breakfast and lunch. Not all raw (he likes canned fruit), but a HUGE improvement over the sugar-cereal and cow's milk he usually eats for breakfast and the meat and cheese on white bread (or canned pasta)he eats for lunch! YAY!!!  cheesy

15  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / my daughter is going raw! on: Tuesday 23 January, 2007
Hi, all!

You have all been such an inspiration to me, and my daughter - so much so that she has commited to going raw!

She is beginning tomorrow, and is commited to 100% raw for one week, with an option to extend indefinitely. (I first commited to a ten-day challenge, but by the third day I was commited for life!)

I am SO excited to have a best friend/daughter/family member to go raw with!!!   cheesy  This is awesome! RAWsome! Thanks to all of you for your support.
