New here, and so very happy to have found you!  I have been over weight my whole life and have tried mulitple ways of losing weight, some very drastic...spending literally thousands of dollars!  (2weight loss surgeries, wired jaw...ugghhh)
My daughter Lisa who has been a health buff here whole life introduced me to raw after me expressing my frustration of the many failues I had encountered.  She loaned me Alissa Cohens "Living on Live Food" video which suddnely made the lights go on for me !  I love to cook and even had my own catering business for many years.  When I saw all the beautiful delicious dishes that I could make using RAW foods...I just knew I finally found the answer.
I had the pleasure of attending Alissa Cohens Level I, II, III certification classes and walked away even more inspired.  I have such a thirst for anything related to raw and have continued my education in Living Nutrition and Natural Health and Healing.  It is now my passion and I am having a blast teaching others.

I still have some weight to lose ( i weighed over 300)  but without a doubt I know I will do it!  This lifestyle has changed my life and I am no longer on any of the many meds I used to take which included Blood Pressure Meds, Diabetes meds, Diuretics, and anti depressants.  I no longer suffer from painful joints and can now walk 4 miles a day without any difficulty.  My mental clarity and increased energy make me feel young and vibrant!!
I am looking forward to gettng to know everyone and making some new RAW friends!
