10  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Beauty / Re: Skin troubles on: Yesterday at 08:20 PM
yes you are detoxing sweetheart....

hang in there....what are you using on your skin apart from the pro? what are you cleansing with?moisturising with, its very important you are still protecting the barrier of your skin with a film of moisture...regardless of what you think....this will actually exacerbate your skin issues...

avoid picking or touching your skin...and keep your hair very clean, and change your pillow case often....

dont know what your budget is honey>

i would suggest either using coffee berry priori cleanser or coconut oil...remove with clean warm(not hot) flannel...and pat dry with a clean towel...

dab onto any spots tea tree oil(patch test you are tolerant of this first, just a dab behind your ear..)let this dry for 3 mins or so....avoid getting near your eyes....apply either a thin film of coconut oil,or rose hip oil..and blot excess with a tissue....keep skin sheltered from the sun(for now) whilst using the tea tree oil...as this can make you sun sensitive....

every three days...buy a paw paw.....peel off the skin with a good amount of flesh still attached and on a clean skin...rub the flesh side all over your face including your eyes.....and leave on for 5-10 mins, this will gently exfoliate...gently splash off with room temp water, and pat dry with a clean towel....then apply a mask of fresh aloe vera gel and tomato(blended together) and lie down if possible,,,,and leave on for as long as you want to....(this will take the imflammation and infection out of your skin...)
rinse off gently and then apply your tea tree and then either rosehip  or coconut oil...and smile, you are beautiful!

once your spots arent pustules any more...you may want to buy some vitamin e oil capsules, pop a clean pin into one,and rub over your skin, this will help with scarring too..and then let me know how your skin is feeling...i would suggest priori coffee berry day complex or coconut oil as moisture protective!
11  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / Re: are you aware of your raw-progress? on: Yesterday at 08:08 PM
ahh yes,i am very much aware of my raw progress and for this i am sooo grateful...for my choices i have made, even the destructive ones, that had nothing to do with eating raw food! and its all been learning, and makes me thankful to be where i am today!

oh move your skinny self aside Rude's...let my fat ass through lol...

my garden is doing beautifully thank you very much...aint gonna pee on it though, weeeeeeeeeeeeell not in the daylight te he....the neighbor,he's a bit of a gawker...

Nige is giving me the vegie lecture, initially the seedlings need watering twice a day...im like ohh no they will rot cos they be too wet, apparently not so rolleyes....lucky he's so cute, cos he sure is darn bossy!lol....

Gos~yes i have dry fasted, and still do at times....it is a good way to recognise the diff between thirst and hunger...

i always drink water before eating...am much more hydrated these days

this arvos snack..
punnet of cherry toms
7 walnuts

too delicious....

dinner was soo damn good...greens lots of....corn,nori(love seaweed)celery, fresh toms...blended soaked sundried toms with couple T's of sunflower seeds and some fresh toms, dash of sundried toms soak water, and 1 T of coconut oil, incredible dressing..piled into big iceberg lettuce leaves and wrapped up...oh and a head of brocoli....chopped finely....

damn good, still felt like more seaweed after...so lay out 3 sheets, spread them with a thin film of coconut oil, piled full of lettuce...rolled em up,drenched them in lemon juice and stuck a slice of soaked sundried tomatos in each little roll.....mmmm..great 'dessert',lol!

im loving sharing my food adventures, with freedom, and all im getting is loving support-even when my way,is different from your way- and fun people around me,and makes me value my freedom of choice, and i thank you all!
13  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Beauty / Re: Nivea substitute? on: Yesterday at 08:45 AM
sorry thats ROSE HIP oil......you would be looking all day for rosehil oil,lol rofl

theres also another cream called HUNI...its based on manuka honey though,so dont know if you would use that....you would use the night cream as it is richer...

are you eating coconut oil,its also good to eat for soooo many reasons and this will help your skin from inside out too!
14  Go RAW! The Testimonial Section! / RAW Journals - Your RAW Experiences / Re: Jen's blazing through 2008! on: Yesterday at 08:43 AM
he he thats funny Les...

i have read so many times, that those who drink green vegs juice, experience a level of health, far greater than those who dont....i totally agree with that,in my experiences

today Jen,i have blended coconut oil and some vanilla bean in with my green juice...a power hit!
15  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Beauty / Re: Toothsoap! (any success? improving gum health?) on: Yesterday at 08:42 AM
i didnt like the tooth soap and i passed it on to RNJen years ago...too 'soapy' rolleyes

i use another one from another company..and its based on minerals earth and essential oils,in phenomenal.teeth so white,so clean, took plaque away and inflammation of my gums...i barely get any bleeding gums now...and teeth are awesome...

also eating more mineral enriched foods is helping alot!
