Hi Jen, I've had some very limited experience with both Arcadia and Clohessy River Farm when I was inquiring about studying Natural Hygiene. I haven't been to either places, but I emailed both. Dr John Fielder was absolutely amazing and gave me some excellent advice. Alex ? from Arcadia was a bit unresponsive. Both I think are equally experienced. Dr John just won me over with his wonderfully caring bed-side manner. Best of luck with your search. My step-daughter has chronic fatigue too, so I know a bit about how horrid life can get. Also, get into coconuts (oil, flesh & water). I've heard AMAZING things too and have started using them for my own chronic health issues with fabulous results. They are particularly good for CFS sufferers apparently. Anthea
Hi Sheryl, I'm a big fan of Yoga. I have done it on and off for the past 10 years, but lately since going mostly raw I've found that my flexibility and strength have increased considerably adding further to my motivation to do it more! I've been doing almost an hour each morning and really getting into it. It is the Best. Am now considering doing Yoga Teachers training as I think, combined with raw, it is definitely the way to go for me. Your teacher sounds amazing. What an inspiration!
Yesterday I felt amazing. Today I feel TERRIBLE. Mild fluey symptoms, headache. Must be detoxing. It's all a bit 3 steps forward and 2 back for me at the moment. Really craving grains today. I've been slowly cutting things out over the past few months. First went the sugar and wheat, then the dairy and all processed foods, now the grains and heavily cooked food. Having some steamed veg which I feel absolutely fine with. How long does the detoxing take, in your experience? I guess it's very individual. I have been pretty sick with IBS, allergies and eczema so there's a lot of healing to be done. Anthea
Hi Everyone, I'm new to this site and to raw - and am completely blown away by it all. This site is fabulous. Nice to know there is a community happening in Australia. Sheryl & Piers (and anyone else who may know) - Have you done a course in Natural Hygiene and if so, which one was it. Or which would you recommend. I am becoming incredibly interested in this area and need some guidance. Thanks for everything, Anthea
