16  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Beauty / Makeup and face cream on: Tuesday 07 August, 2007
I've noticed since i have gone raw that any makeup or cream i put on my face makes me have a reaction to them. I get really red flushes and my face feels hot for the rest of the day. This to me proves the chemicals in those products. I still have a few acne scars to hide but since my face is clearing im going without now. I still use the occasional eyeliner and mascara and lipgloss thats about it. The colour in my face is even on its own now.

I now use leftover smoothies as my facials or avacado mask on my face to brighten it and the avocado once rinsed makes me look like im already wearing face cream.  afro

Wow lot of food for thought.

sugar cane plant and is a good source of iron, vitamin B6, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Because it is an end-product all the ingredients, residues, and toxins in the plant can be concentrated in the molasses. For this reason it is important to purchase organic molasses.

With the above statement i wish i could eat the raw plant.

Did you know: Molasses is an excellent chelating agent. An object with iron rust placed for two weeks in a mixture of one part molasses to nine parts water will lose its rust due to the chelating action of the molasses.<--- another food for thought i guess hmm.

Well i dont know i typed in fruitarian dangers on the internet and only came to Dr Bass' website http://www.funpcgame.com/health/Fruitarian-danger.htm

Also without some toxins for the body to defend itself when you have a totally clean body then the toxins will cause ill effect to those who are well too clean. Which as i said can be dangerous if you fall off the fruitarian bandwagon and start eating bad foods again. I'll jsut liek to add especially for survival if sometthign were to happen and fruit wasnt available then. Also children build up their immune systems with dirt and germs. So being too hygenic can also have its consequences long term. It wont help when your already exposed to polluted toxins outside can make you more sicker.

In many studies sugar is known to feed cancer thats why many cancer clinics use mainly veggies in cancer patients diets. Although some fruits with sugars especially potent in vitamin c and cancer killing minerals can ward it off by letting the cancer feed of the sugar then the vitamin c goes to work oxidising.

Another guys experince http://www.beyondveg.com/billings-t/bio/billings-t-bio-1a.shtml

I dont jump on any band wagon really until im sure somethting is good for me. Anyway my intuition is strongly telling me not too much fruit for myself at this stage. I'am probably 65-75% at this stage and feel good and dont feel fatigued if i add some seasalt and cooked foods. I notice when i go on abit of cooked food,  the raw foods work harder to make me look younger. So im pleased it still works. So theres no plateau!

Black strap mollasses has 9 times more iron then meat and so does wheatgerm have alot of iron. It helped my mum when she was aneamic one stage and ther blood levels went back to normal. So thats why im asking hehe.
24  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / Off Topic Chat / Re: Vitamix worth the price? on: Tuesday 07 August, 2007
LOL well yeah i only needed to make baby food at the time before, i became raw and its still ok. But im stilll looking towards the expensive brands but dont really think i need them at the moment.

On the political front yes food is getting dearer and i tried an organic delivery for the first time and it really bunred through the pockets.

Not to mention all foods have some types of chemicals to keep the masses addicted. To even think they are going to add vitamins to junk food is downright disgusting, even when they have not banned trans fatty acids yet.
25  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / Off Topic Chat / Re: Vitamix worth the price? on: Tuesday 07 August, 2007
Well i can tell you now i wont be giving good advice. My first blender was glass one and apparently someoone put it on the stove cause it was in their way, not knowing the stove was on so the plastic underneath melted. So theres a tip for you make sure you can look after one first lol.

Then in desperation i quickly bought a cheap one at the only place that was open the warehouse aka clints crazy, till i could buy an expensive one. Their little blender i fell inlove with immediately, it is wicked and has lasted me over a year; also comes with a grinder thats wicked. The reason im saying it is wicked is because a little cheap blender like that does everything and has outlasted more then my first prediction of a couple of weeks for a dodgy cheap brand. But its amazing what you find. Food for thought for those who like abit of simplicity. I think the brand starts with 'c' so im not bothered to go to the kitchen to check. Good for $20! But im sure noone is going to run out to get it in a hurry hahaha. Its a little gem for me though and cuts things up better then the bigger dodgy target or kmart ones.
26  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / Dark circles under eyes... on: Tuesday 07 August, 2007
I've notice that alot of raw foodists have dark circles under their eyes and im noticing it on myself too. I read that dark circles under the eyes means your not getting enough iron and especially if the whites in your eyes are red, apart from tiredness.

So i just take black strap mollasses and wheat germ now and again and it sort of helps. Are these two allowed on the raw food diet?

28  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Fitness & Health / Re: Sinus issues.... on: Tuesday 07 August, 2007
Thanks! All my conditions started with a drug called depo provera a contraceptive. If anyone knows raw foodists American Shelly on Shazzies site, my story is the same like hers. Before that i never had problems with anything. I was happy and healthy and always thought i was vincible when you look at my medical history never ever had headaches and hardly visited the doctor until after that drug i got problems of anxiety, pcos, sinus problems, etc. It fed up my whole reproductive system and hormones. So that drug made everything come to surface early in age, which would probably; eventually would have came for me in 20-30 yrs time.

Im not against homeopathy but it also made my nose even drier which put me off it.  I'am going to study naturopathy and nutrition and study different dietary habits soon but not to practice it, instead to write books on the awareness off issues as per my feelings and soul contract. Gosh knows ive been to naturopaths in rich offices who only look for money and im not like that. I was fortunate though to have a naturopath that listens and doesnt charge an arm and a leg for his services and accupuncture is included with the services. Also he doesnt push vitamins and pills onto people for money unless he feels they trully need it when he councils them.

30  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Fitness & Health / Re: Sinus issues.... on: Monday 06 August, 2007
Thanks i have eliminated those things anyho and been to the not milk website etc.

I cant take anything spicy because i got serious hemmorhoids after pregnancy so im eating alot of citrus for that too.

I cant stomach onions as i had the off sensation since my pregnancy and i never can handle cutting them because i cry worser then my child.

Garlic i hardly have with anything and if i do its a once a month thing.

Milk i never have anymore because i know about the mucous thing but i still get mucous from anything that looks like milk such as almond milk which is weird but i feel its way better for me at the moment.

Capsicums i have been having alot off and i cant help it but i know i shouldnt because of my thyroid issues.

Drugs the doctors gave me was what made those symptoms come for me. So i dont like drugs.

I have taken homeopathic medicine which got rid of my polyps but it has toxins in minute amounts which i dont like such as arsenic. So i gave up on them!

I trully hope its my nasal passages clearing though.
