Hey Piers & Sheryl, Wondering if there is any way of getting hold of really raw cashews and the 'jungle nut' peanuts from Nature's Law. So expensive to import small quantities. Have you ever thought about supplying them? They sound good and I hate having to buy so-called raw cashews from health food stores.Anyhow, a thought to pass your way.

Hey, regards the carrots, I just gave her the whole or half (just break it off). She could only get little bits scraped off. If it was any skinnier then she could have bitten off a sizable piece and had problems. She now sits up in her chair and has chunky bits of veg including cabbage but not lettuce- the leaf is too thin and she gags! Hope this is helpful. Sorry took so long. Busy family. Regards, rabbit

Hi Jane, I have a 20 month old who is more or less all raw ( my husband and other 6 kids find ways to get some cooked food) . At under 1 yr she was eating veg chunks- carrot, cucumber, as well as banana, strawberry was a favourite at about 8-9 mnths, & apple. I guess being a busy mum I did not get to blend things down, she just ate with me. I did not give her lots of food as she was fully breast fed, until after 1 yr and she is healthy and doing well as far as development goes-walking, running, talking etc. I would say let your babe have the real 'unblended' McCoy, and just keep an eye on him

Thanks for the info. I don't know what is a normal amount of fats to include in your diet but I put 1/2 young coconut meat in a morning veg juice maybe 4x a week. 5 days a week I'll have 1/2 to 1 avo with lunch (usually a whole). I don't have other nuts and seeds very often. I find if I have too many I start to gain weight. As for the shampoo, I use a 'Young Living' one -chemical free and includes essential oils- rosewood (main one), geranium, sandalwood, clary sage, bergamot and wintergreen. I have been reading from Frederic Patenaude's website which I guess made me think to watch the fat intake. I am curious as to what other people have found from his reccommendations- from trying it.

Locally RAW / Australia & New Zealand / dry hair

Hi everyone, My hair has become more dry this year. I only began raw last November. I put a lebanese cucumber or equivalent in my blended veg juice every morning as I know it's supposed to be good for hair, nails and skin, but it has really dried out. Does anyone know what is good or what to avoid? I don't know how to remedy except get a hair analysis done.
Thanks, Jill
