I dont expect to turn my whole family into raw foodists. but how can i help them to incorporate more raw foods without sounding know it all and preachy? i just want the best for them. should i prepare some raw or mostly raw meals and see how they like them? how have you guys introduced raw to non raw family members, etc? how have they responded? i feel like i want my family and others to reep the benefits i am reaping as well!
avocados are great for the skin right? my mom isnt a raw foodist or anything but she eats avocodos almost every day bc she loves them and her skin looks younger than someone her age.
i did some research on the internet and discovered a solution to my overworking the thigh muscles. i was leaning my upper body forward too much in the exercise when i should try to "sit back" more. i also found that pointing your heel down instead of your toes/balls of foot shifts the focus to the glutes and muscles on back of leg. i focused on this all day, walking with a very upright posture, going up stairs with a very upright posture, doing my exercise with heels stretched out instead of toes and i can feel a difference already.
for my birthday i want to splurge on ingredients and make a super rich, delicious decadent chocolate cake. i was kinda thinking of something that incorporates truffles, or ganache or something. something that has texture, rich intense flavor, creaminess, very chocolately. anyone know of any good recipes?
i want to build some more muscle in my butt. however is this possible without building in the thighs also? ive been doing some exercises that are supposedly supposed to build muscle in the butt but the only thing that is getting bigger are my thigh muscles. are there any exercises that mostly help to build muscle in the butt only? thanks for any answers.
ok ive been high raw for several weeks now and im noticing that my cellulite is almost gone already! the only cooked things im eating are steamed veggies, beans/lentils and the occasional bit of dark chocolate. and my skin, despite the nasty frigid air, is much softer and nicer. im glad.
I am at school right now and the air is really dry here. Are there any specific foods i should consume because my skin is really suffering. This always happens when i go to school. my skin gets really weathered and froucgh looking especially on my legs, arms and face and hands. should i eat more raw fats? also, what foods boost collagen production. i know certain vitamins play a key role here but i am not sure which foods exactly?
I'm 18 so i dont have sagging breasts as of now however i am wondering how effective eating raw is in keeping your chest from sagging and staying firm?
im at college now and it isnt the easiest getting all raw food to eat. my college is in the middle of no where, i have limited funds and no car. im not complaining though, im making do. im trying to eat around 85 to 90% raw. the only non raw things im eating are beans, occasionally some minimally processed grains, some cooked salsa here and there and occasionally some tortialla chips. once in a while i have had a cookie and stuff but im doing quite well i think. i feel pretty good too. im excited for the summer that way i can eat raw all the time, eat lots of fresh in season fruit, make smoothies all the time ( i love smoothies) and try out new recipes.
im not really worried too much about losing pounds but inches. does a raw diet tend to result in more weight loss from the midsection? i ask because i like the size of my bottom but i want a smaller waist. problem is im afraid if i lose fat from my waist it will go from my bum too.
