Hi there,

I am a kiwi girl but been so long abroad feel i am world citizen.  Have been in Istanbul for the past 8 years, and also work through the middle east.  I don't know one person in Turkey who is on Raw.   it's easy, because there is such great produce, no organic mind you, but abundance and cheap.  but socially, it is totally a no-no, you hardly meet a vegetarian here, let alone raw.

I am from New Zealand, but living in Turkey for the past 8 years.  Leslie Kenton was also my first inspiration, read her books when i was 17, 18 years ago.  Wish i had been raw all that time!  I come home quite often, where do you live.  I was surprised to hear that Leslie Kenton is living in New Zealand, in Lyttelton, only found out because my brother looks after one of her websites.  Right now i am on a 90 day raw challenge with a group that is connected to www.rawfoodtalk.com.  it's a great forum, very nice people.
