Hi Zaia,

Love the sound of your garden...would love to live like that...will do..hopefully sooner then later. Really you must try the GS. My kids even love them!! It does help to have a really powerful blender(vita-mix or similar). I love bananas, pears, apple & a mild green(english spinach or young kale). Also replaces one meal for you, leaving the rest so easy.

have fun:-)

PS Suay..I know the feeling, am thinking of buying another copy of 811, so I can keep mine always. It's just to good not to share!!

hey, yes my first yum mango...summer, love it. Sun, blue sky & luscious fruits.

Hey, Suay...what work are you doing now?? 5 hr shift sounds very balanced. An added cat/mouse story to yours. One of my daughters has 2 pet rats. They LOVE GS:-) Rats actually really know what's good for them, they love fruit to.

12  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / Re: multiple sclerosis and raw on: Monday 08 October, 2007
Hi Theresa...my sis & mum have MS. My sister is trying to go raw, but has probs with food addictions. My mum has started to add alot more raw into her diet. I would love to test raw on them, but has to be there decision & follow through i guess. I hate to see them taking all the medications(my sis also has rhumotoid & my mum also has osteoporosis). I guess thats a big reason why I have chosen raw as a prevention, as my gene pool could obviously throw me in the same direction. Would love to hear how your friend goes with raw long term.
13  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / Re: Anyone going to Byron for Doug Grahams workshops?? on: Sunday 30 September, 2007
I have also booked under Lynita Clark. Ashliegh, did she mention I had already rung & booked?? Did it about 9am this am, I think before you(hopefully they have already put us together). I tried to get her to book under 'Raw' name, but she didn't seem to like the idea & wanted surnames. So if everyone that wants to book, can just mention our names..should be sweet:-)

Having said all that...between Ashleigh & my campsite, we could cram about 8-10 people I reckon, if you have small tents, or are camping under the stars. makes it cheaper for everyone that way. I am booked for 6 nights from 16/11-22/11. By the way if you are flying into Ballina, there is a service that you can book that will drive you from the airport to the door of BH CP.

Hi Ashleigh, great time at B for you(my friend is up there enjoying it to).

I am also going to book a site(this will cover me for 6 nights & for my friend beth as well) & say can they put me with the raw people...so can you identify yourself to them & select a good spot, as you seem to be 'in the know'. Ta so much....

Christine doesn't mind staying at the other place on her own, feel a bit bad, but think that really BH makes sense for me, as I have no car.
15  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / Recipes - Meals & Snacks / Re: Stinging nettle pesto (from Raw Family newsletter) on: Saturday 29 September, 2007
The central coast organics farm has wild nettle growing, Bill said that you can throw it in the GS, when it's blended really well it takes the sting off. I was a bit hesitant to try, but now I've found his thread, I can see that you guy's have even done pesto etc. How exciting...I must try it now, as I know that it's really nutritious.
