Chelle, that looks incredible.  Please do share the recipe!!!  Beautiful pics Smiley

Jen, I made your coconut dish just now from page 2 of this thread - still eating it in fact - and it's amazingly beautiful.  Love it.  Want to know David's comment?  While we were preparing it he said it was just going to be water and taste like everything else we eat, but afterwards?  You must *really* have made an impression.  You're dying to know what he said aren't you?  He said......

"I think I need a wee now."

Oh Emi!!!!

You are so wonderful and so worth paying attention to!  I would not want to miss anything you say as you have such wisdom and love and I want to bathe in it all.

OK, embroidering numbers may not be wisdom, but YOU are important to me.  Very!!!

Enjoy your fencing.  I know what you mean about getting a workout there, phew!

Love and hugs and joy,

Hiya Sach,

I was getting a bit worried about you, but I guess you had a busy week.  I'm so pleased and grateful to read your post today, and to know that you're not only OK, but shining.  Go Sachman!!!

Berry that song is very touching.  I've only listened to the first one yet as David is nagging me to come away from the computer for a few minutes Wink  So I'll lisetn to the other one later.

The gifts you bought sound wonderful Sach.  I'm sure they brought great happiness.

Emi that is really beautiful.  She is going to be so thrilled.

Have you embroidered the needle sizes on the case?  I can't make it out if so.  Or is that part still to come?

It truly is gorgeous rose

22  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / Off Topic Chat / Let's get Christmassy on: Friday 07 December, 2007
Here's a start.  What, in my opinion, is the best Christmas lights ever, and set to fantastic music.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgrQdxzFAtM

This is real, not computer generated.  The guy is a stage lighting specialist for his job, which is no surprise.  The piece of music is named 'Wizards in Winter' and performed by the TransSiberian Orchestra (but don't let that put you off).

He has shortwave radio set up so that at the end of his street is a sign telling you what radio wavelength to tune into and you get the music on your car radio as you drive past so the sound doesn't upset the neighbours.

Each year he causes traffic jams as people flood in to listen and watch.

I reckon it's tops!!!  I hope you enjoy it too.

No it's OK, I used to turn my toes on the leg extension machine so that my outer and inner quads got exercised also.  No intention of doing it whilst running Wink

Rag doll eh?  Hubby will be impressed with you!!!

Hi Coach Smiley

Wow.  OK.  Radical.  And I love radical, so I'm all yours LOL.

I have a walk ahead of me tomorrow and wouldn't you know it, it's dead flat in that direction but I will most certainly be trying this out the first chance I get during my run on Saturday.  In fact my first section's hill can be split into 2 so that the top of it has only 7 bundles of junk (and decreasing) in my bag.  You're on!

It sounds, on paper, as if I'm going to trip over my own feet, but I got a clear picture from your explanation, thank you very much.  No mean task to explain something like that!!!

I'll write back on Sunday and let you know how I went as Saturday is going to be pretty full.

> Oh, i think that you meant 51 years young !

Hehehe, yeah, I think so Smiley

> Scared yet? you will be...

Well, pretty darned curious at that point, yes rofl  I certainly didn't take it in on the first read through.

> I imagine that you have deliveries to do every few meters, going up hills to different mail boxes.

Yes indeed.  Normal suburban housing with a few duplexes thrown in, usually at the top of the hills/cul de sacs.  My area is circled by a road with no houses on it but there are 6 groups of cul de sacs coming off this circle.  The centre of the circle is a hill and all of the cul de sacs climb it - some steeper than others.

I have had to work on the relaxation bit already as I was getting very stiff shoulders and neck, so now I have to carry that skill downwards as well I'd say.  I do have one arm free, or just holding one bundle in that hand and up to 4 bundles in the crook of the other arm.  They are in bundles of 5 houses worth in the bag.

When I was into weight training I always used to turn my toes in/centre/out for the leg extension machine, so I like what you've told me; this is going to achieve the same results yahh

I *think* I do lean from the ankles already - hubby used to say I ran all hunched up when we first began this, and now he tells me I look good (straight and tall) while running.  I will ask him to give me updates - there's not usually anything younger or slimmer around to take his attention off me when we get to our meeting places LOL

> Only thing that concerns me is that heavy bag. Be carful it is not to heavy or you cause unwanted tension in the houlders, neck etc... better to go refill it and start again, no?

We're fairly stuck in the way we do it now because of where we are able to park the car, but on days it's extra heavy I walk as slowly as I need until it starts to empty a bit.  Or carry as many bundles as I can in one arm.

> Keep up the great work, and enjoy life to its fullest!

Oh yeah!!!!  Thank you so much!!!

Hi Jen Smiley

Yeah, I made them.  They are Dora the Explorer fabric left over from the dress that I made for Georgia.  Gotta laugh!!!  David says 'how embarrassing!' but it's better than getting prickles in my shoes!!!  I've had prickles a few times and am still wearing the burst blister that one caused.

If you're dinkum about wanting a pair I can certainly make you a set - what colour is your fancy?  They are just elasticated around the top and then hang over your shoes - almost 100% safety record so far.  Actually, I have some lovely fabric with strawberry leaves/flowers/berries on to make a dress so if I extract my digit and make the dress I'll have left over strawberry fabric, would you like that?

Thank you so much Neet - you've been by my side since pretty much Day 1 eh?  Seen all the changes, held my hand or gently booted me in the bum according to my needs... rofl  You're an  Angel

JJ it's sooooo good to see you posting again.  There was a big JJ-elf shaped hole on here for too long you know.  Thank you so much for your beautiful words, they mean a lot.  And don't you go away again!!!

OK Rita, here you are - sparkly straps close up and the whole dress as well.  I'm going to tie the waist thing a bit higher on Saturday but it wasn't worth messing with it for the photo.  And toe nails to paint too...  And I'm having my hair done tomorrow in a way that David has asked for - that's all I'm saying  shrug  cool

Oh and new world record this morning - I was 68.5 and David was 69.  I've never been lighter than him before yahh ohyeah  He lifted me up to celebrate and just about shot me through the ceiling rofl

Saw my mum this morning but I just busied myself with Georgia most of the time.  She really interrupted me big time at one point and David and I just exchanged glances.  I think she saw, but as always was so self absorbed that she had no clue what it was about.  She's just moved house and has boxes everywhere - 51 of them were moved in and she's hardly touched them.  I think she was expecting us to offer to help, but I've told her many times we are busy and that includes for unpacking boxes.  I was not hurt by her interruption, or her expectations, just a mild disappointment that nothing's changed, and it never will.

My 'Joy Experience' is holding up under pressure, I'm so grateful, even though a dear energy-friend says that 'it's all over the place at the moment'.
