Hi Coach

Wow. OK. Radical. And I love radical, so I'm all yours LOL.
I have a walk ahead of me tomorrow and wouldn't you know it, it's dead flat in that direction but I will most certainly be trying this out the first chance I get during my run on Saturday. In fact my first section's hill can be split into 2 so that the top of it has only 7 bundles of junk (and decreasing) in my bag. You're on!
It sounds, on paper, as if I'm going to trip over my own feet, but I got a clear picture from your explanation, thank you very much. No mean task to explain something like that!!!
I'll write back on Sunday and let you know how I went as Saturday is going to be pretty full.
> Oh, i think that you meant 51 years young !
Hehehe, yeah, I think so

> Scared yet? you will be...
Well, pretty darned curious at that point, yes

I certainly didn't take it in on the first read through.
> I imagine that you have deliveries to do every few meters, going up hills to different mail boxes.
Yes indeed. Normal suburban housing with a few duplexes thrown in, usually at the top of the hills/cul de sacs. My area is circled by a road with no houses on it but there are 6 groups of cul de sacs coming off this circle. The centre of the circle is a hill and all of the cul de sacs climb it - some steeper than others.
I have had to work on the relaxation bit already as I was getting very stiff shoulders and neck, so now I have to carry that skill downwards as well I'd say. I do have one arm free, or just holding one bundle in that hand and up to 4 bundles in the crook of the other arm. They are in bundles of 5 houses worth in the bag.
When I was into weight training I always used to turn my toes in/centre/out for the leg extension machine, so I like what you've told me; this is going to achieve the same results

I *think* I do lean from the ankles already - hubby used to say I ran all hunched up when we first began this, and now he tells me I look good (straight and tall) while running. I will ask him to give me updates - there's not usually anything younger or slimmer around to take his attention off me when we get to our meeting places LOL
> Only thing that concerns me is that heavy bag. Be carful it is not to heavy or you cause unwanted tension in the houlders, neck etc... better to go refill it and start again, no?
We're fairly stuck in the way we do it now because of where we are able to park the car, but on days it's extra heavy I walk as slowly as I need until it starts to empty a bit. Or carry as many bundles as I can in one arm.
> Keep up the great work, and enjoy life to its fullest!
Oh yeah!!!! Thank you so much!!!
