1  FAQ - Check Here for the most common Answers! / Forum Assistance / Re: Photo Gallery on: Saturday 11 November, 2006
Hi Sheryl
Thanks.
Yes I saw it on one of the banners. I am looking for some inspiration; it has been a bad year for me because of deaths in my family and I find that I am relying on old eating habits to get by. I loved the recipes and will definitely try them. I hope that you and Piers are well.
Cheers Jo
PS Look forward to the photo gallery when it is up and running.

4  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / Re: New Year Resoloutions? on: Friday 30 December, 2005
Thanks for the best wishes Joss.

I seem to have finally manged to stay logged on. I have enjoyed and valued reading your posts.
I hope that this year is a better one for you.  I am new to the reading about raw foods and would welcome any suggestions.

To Jen. You sound like you are in a similar place to where my daughter was a couple of years ago.  I am sorry for your pain and can only agree with Miss Bliss, as one door closes, another door opens. I hope that yours is filled with hope, happiness and joy as my daughter eventually discovered.

Happy new year to every one. Jo
My new years resolution is to spend more time with friends and to go out more often!
5  Locally RAW / Australia & New Zealand / Re: Adelaide`s Free Raw Food Feast! (January 8th, 2006) on: Monday 26 December, 2005
Hi.
I too am looking forward to meeting people at the picnic in Adelaide.
I am enjoying the beautiful summer fruit that is available at the moment.
It is great to read everyones posts. Some times it is difficult to convince well meaning family members that I will not
fade away or worse still catch some deadly condition because I am only eating raw food. That is when I sit here at my computer and read what everyone has written! What amazing people you all are!
I hope that you are all enjoying the festive season. What I like best is catching up with my children! xx
6  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / PS Dragon Fruit on: Wednesday 30 November, 2005
I meant to mention in my first posting that I am from the lovely city of Adelaide.

I like to grow a lot of my own fruit and veg and I would like to plant a Dragon Fruit Cactus (preferably the white fleshed kind).
Does anyone know where I could get a cutting or buy the plant?

Jo

PS I have never tasted Durian and I think that a picnic in Adelaide would be great!
7  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / Re: Raw Chocolate Contest for first time posters! on: Wednesday 30 November, 2005
Hi.
I am so excited about doing this posting.  It is the first I have ever done: anywhere!! I have been reading the forums for a few months now and have found the sharing that everyone does very reassuring. I have been 100% raw for about 3 weeks and am feeling rather pleased with myself.

For many years I have eaten lots raw foods but with enough pastas and rice and caramel to count, and then about 3 months ago I just happened to pick up a book in the library called ' Raw Power". It was was just the push I needed and it sent me looking on the net for like minded people, and so for mosly ethical reasons, I am a raw foodist. I think that now more than ever, I need to acknowledge the earth and once again become part of the cycle of nature.

I love grapes and bananas and could live on them all the time, but the reason I became enthused about this topic, is my love of raisins and macadamia nuts!!

Thankyou everyone for your support on my new journey, because while you may not be aware of it , the passion and kindness shown by so many of you has kept me positive and on track.  Best wishes always Jo.
