Missed posting a few days.....today is day 6 (I think)
Will make this a super quick post cos I got to head out the door...been having a lot of smoothies and fresh fruit and salads...slipped up a little yesterday with some "other" cooked, was so hungry and teeth made it hard to chew, so ate some soft cooked food, never mind, I have been going really well besides that, and I dont know if I have said or not, but I DONT want to be 100% raw, but very bery high raw...I still enjoy steamed veggies and soups...which I beleive there are just some veggies that cant be digested properly raw...eg, broccolli, pumpkin....and I love seeds and grains...

Been having quite a few smoothies...here are the BEST ones so far...

Frozen bananas
cacao powder
water

and this one...

Frozen bananas
blueberries
water

And I know it is early in the morning, but here is a pic of my sad teeth...LOL

Hopefull will be fixed soon...

Talk soon, much love to you all

Gorgeous Goddess, thats awesome, your hubby is a great man for saying that to you...just what you needed to hear. I am so happy for you and him, its inspiring and motivational when you can work together for a great cause...namely health!!...gosh you two must be so hot together!!..LOL Phew!

Nope dont have a tramp, would love to get one some day...have looked at them most longingly...they look like fun and fantastic exercise.

My teeth...well, still the same. As a child I always had very poor teeth, lack of nutrition and sometimes no food, caused my teeth to crumble into fine powder even at age 12...I distinctly remember sitting in class, and idly chewing on a pencil, listening to the teacher, when suddenly my back molar crumbled into fine powder...like a calcium tablet. I grew up with missing and rotten teeth, ashamed to smile... That all changed when special man from church whom is a dentist, as a wedding gift, patched up my teeth 10 years ago, so now, going back to being ashamed of my mouth and with a huge gaping hole in the front...is a hard thing. Dont know how we will find the extra $ for what needs to be done, and I feel guilty for more financial burdens on my family cause of this, But I have faith that things will work out, God has never left me desperate, He has ALWAYS inspired people to help in different situations, has somehow given me and my family what we need in the right time. Little miracles happen very frequently each day. I have faith that my teeth will be fixed somehow and by some means. This I know to be true, and so I feel comforted in a way. I am not saying God made my teeth fall out...no, it is all about timing... Gods perfect timing, EVERYTHING that happens in life happens for a purpose, at exactly the right time when we need to learn something or help someone or teach someone or even when we meet someone, whom we talk to in the street, how we treat eachother, all has a ripple effect that goes on eternally what we do today, will effect tomorrow and so forth...life is a big huge lesson, there are so many opportunities for growth and a deeper more richer life experience if we are open to the lessons being taught, and use them as a stepping stone...thats what I feel anyway.  laugh

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labour or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? ...But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself." - Matthew 6:25-34

Love you

Dearest Jen, just got your message...I have to turn it into positve...and count it as a learning expereince, I was thinking, ...I have been praying to have control and wisdom in eating, to gain self restraint and not use food as an emotional tool, to become healthy...for God to show and teach me how....and this happens, this is the PERFECT, opportunity for me to develop these things I have been asking to be added to me...God will never just give us a gift, but through situations, will help us develop...and also has given me the opportunity to have more compassion for those whom, live like this each day. I am greatful...sounds strange, but I am.

I might post a pic of my teeth...just for fun!! LOL

Love ya

My idea if the challenge was to do my best at 100 days raw...not 100% raw, working up to high raw and being accountable to others is great motivation.

Yesterday was day 3 of my challenge...heres what I had...

4 Tangellos
1 banana
whole head of butter lettuce with tomato, spring onion, and avocado balls
piece of raw pie I made the other day
bread roll home made
1 raw biscuit

Even though there is a cooked bread roll in there, what I ate for the whole day is better than wat I have been eating.

no exercise...as yet

have a great day everyone

I am glad everyone is joining in....

I will continue in my journal, but poop into this thread everyday to see how everyone is going. Looks like I will be doing a lot of juicing and smoothies with too few teeth to chew anything  Sad...oh well, I will be the best with what I have.

Pinky, I would love you to join me...in fact feel free anyone to join in on the action!

Yesterday I went pretty well! I brought a few pieces of fruit at the fruit shop to keep munching on at work...

3 tangellos...loving these at the moment
2 bananas
1 punnet strawberries
and 2 apples...

around lunchtime I was hungry, all the orders kept coming in...and they started to look yummy...eek, time to eat, my sister made me a salad roll with heaps of fresh salad, no dressings, or fats...I thought this was much better than eating some chips or other things on the menu!

Came home and ate a few more tangellos, bananas and dineer was some of the pie I made the other night.

I need to drink heaps more water though...hardly had a drop all day...and time to think about exercise!

Process till crumbly and moist, will stick together when pressed into a pan.

15  Go RAW! The Testimonial Section! / RAW Journals - Your RAW Experiences / Re: Berrybliss...blissfully loving, living Life...Day 1 of 100% Raw on: Friday 08 August, 2008
So Day 1 of 100 days RAW....

Been feeling like crap lately, eating cooked food and expanding around the hips...trying to keep high raw, but not finding much motivation to keep it up. I was going to do another juice feast, but knew it wasnt my time. I have had to be resourceful of late, making my own things from scratch, simple homey cooked...and sometimes going wthout fresh produce... the things I needed, I could not forage...so made home baked and home made foods for the family...my hips loved the chance to bung on a few kgs!

Good thing is we are ALL missing having raw foods...even hubby been feeling sick lately from too much cooked...(this is great!)

Woke up this morning and had a choice to spend our last few dollars on cooked food, (dont worry we get paid next week) that wouldnt see us through the weekend or just begin again high raw for family and raw for me... so I spent $30 on a huge bunch of spinnach, bananas, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, strawberries, broccolli and red capsicum...then went off and foraged a huge box of fresh manderines!

I searched deep into the cupboards and came up with a few goodies...put on my thinking cap and came up with this...

Grab onto your seats...this will blow your socks off!

Its a RAW Anzac biscuit pie thing with chocolate icing!

Want the recipe...well you will have to bribe me!

Now onto what to make for dinner?...STAY TUNNED
