PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / Raw Pets / Re: Bella goes psycho

Hey Jen! That must have been so frightening for you! I suggest an animal communicator. We had a lovely lady work with our show ponies every month. It was so helpful! She also did reiki and massage with them as well. We have the most awesome dog ever known to man and she does what Bella did today, when my daughter (most awesome dog's child) is holding her. Our animal communicator says it is because she is protecting my daughter as Anna (child) gets really tense when another dog is around the most awesome dog in the world. However, because this is so out of character it may suggest that Bella is not feeling too well. Has her diet, environment, experiences changed?? Has another dog upset her? Is Bella sore anywhere? Have you been feeling vulnerable/stressed/upset lately? Did she go with you on holiday? It sounds like something that needs to be addressed quickly. I hope normal, non head spinning, sweetie pie Bella comes back soon!!

I guess unless you have suffered or suffer chronic ulcerative colitis, you wont "get" it...even then there are varying degrees of suffering with uc....most people i know, are completely clueless of what i go through/have been through..its only if you live with me for awhile, that you see what a trauma it can be...We stayed with Nige's bro and his wife( who is a nurse)..we talked alot, when i wasnt sleeping...they couldnt believe what i go through...and they said what a very high pain tolerance i have...which i do have....strange to say,but you get use to the pain, and feeling awful...i would say that's why i feel so excited now, about getting healed and having energy and a fully functioning mind/my body is getting there...
I don't have UC, but I do know what it is like to live with pain day in and day out. And I know I would just about do anything to get rid of it. I guess that is partly why I am so excited about your new eating life and how it is helping you recover and be well. I really believe that we are all different and everyone responds to different things. There is no one size fits all plan for everyone. (I know people with rheumatoid arthritis [which I have] who have gone into long term remission through becoming vegan (cooked), raw vegan, eating only organic, eating paleo etc.) For me, 100% raw is not it. But going back to dairy food is not it either. I am still trying to find what works for me right now. I really admire your willingness to go beyond what you once thought was the very best for you, to find what is the very best for you right now. What a blessing Nigel is for you! He sounds like such a devoted man that really, truly loves you! What a catch he is huh! Michele~

Great doctor wants me to get mammogram. Then get a mammo if it would put your mind at ease. But surely the Dr had some more suggestions other than that. Is there a lump in your breast as well. What other tests has the Dr done? Have you had bloods done, if so what were your results? Have you been to an Osteopath to get your body in balance or had some reiki to your energies balanced? The pain in your chest and back could be anxiety, but I wouldn't say for sure because it could be others things too. If your shoulder blade is painful it could be that your thoracic spine is out, which can influence your breathing etc. To be honest, with your yo yo way of eating, I am not surprised you feel unwell and have a blocked gland. It is no way to eat if you want to have a balanced and well body, raw or not. You should know that just because you crave something -dairy for example - it doesn't actually mean your body needs it. I crave crunchie bars all the time, but I know I don't need them. lol. It sounds like it is time to take charge of your health and your body. Worrying about cancer isn't going to help, unless of course you want to be sick. I know this all sounds harsh and I don't mean it to be. Take what I say in the spirit it is meant - someone trying to help. If you want to be well you have to make better choices. Stop worrying and become proactive about your health. Be consistent. Start cutting down on the crap. You can't do cleanses and then fill up on junk. Your body must be very confused!! lol. Michele.

Good news Neet.
I know you were not feeling well for some time, but do you have a specific moment when you thought to yourself, 'enough is enough'. If you did, what did you do next? Did you see 'someone'? Or did you come up with this new and awesome program yourself or did Nigel beg you to do something different. I hope I am not being too nosey! I love to hear about what motivates people to do things differently.
If you don't want to answer on here feel free to PM or to ignore me.
I am so pleased for your good health and your rash going and all the other truly fabulous things that are happening.
Love, Michele.

Quite honestly I can't see how it would be the cooked dinners unless they are KFC! I do remember you were VERY sick with KFC food poisoning. Did you ever found out if it was something specific that caused your symptoms? It is possible that you have some sort of post infection fatigue. Raised glands anywhere on the body are a sign that you body is trying to heal from something and that you some sort of level of toxicity. Anyways, what ever it is, you need to get some blood tests or be tested by a naturopath or natural health person for anaemia, B12 levels and general vit and mineral levels, viruses, heavy metals etc., etc.. You cannot expect to get better if you don't what you are dealing with - there is no point putting a bandaid on your unwellness and waiting to see if you are on the right path - get proactive and get some testing done and then go from there. It is really important to find the cause of your symptoms, rather than just treating the symptom. There are many immune stimulants and immune supportives - echinacea, ginseng, astragalus, Pau D'Arco etc that you could take. High levels of vit. c can be useful. But unless you know what you dealing with you could be throwing good money after bad. The fact that your Dr can't tell you what the lump is, says a lot about his level of skill. Michele.

PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / Raw Pets / Re: Any problem with dogs and peanuts?

I know that peanuts can contain an alflatoxin which can, in excessive amounts, cause liver failure.
I was feeding copra meal from coconuts, to our show horses for their coats, and one of our ponies became quite sick. The vet put it down to an alfatoxin contaminted bag of feed. The pony's liver functions came back dodgy too. Thankfully he is fine now after many, many reiki and cranio treatments and also been put back on a basic "wild horse" diet.
After seeing our pony so sick, I would never feed peanuts or anything that could contain alflatoxin again. I had feed two bags of copra before feeding the contaminated bag, and there was no way of knowing if alflatoxin was present except for the pony's symptoms.
I have also been told to never eat peanut butter as it always contains alflatoxin.
Michele.
