1  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / Personal Growth And Manifestation / Re: David Icke on: Thursday 28 August, 2008
I am an old fool and I have learnt only this piece of nothing.....

Let go all ideas of love and truth and fear and change and more..... they are only ideas.

As young children we have none of these belief patterns.........

Realise that the mind seeks constant reassurance and creates its own reality and certainties.....

....but they are all passing....

Everything is passing

This is not a cause for sadness.... that is just another idea.....

Etag

PS .... I love fruit
2  PleasureTalk - The Discussion Area / RAW Chat / Re: Gabriel Cousens on: Wednesday 13 August, 2008
Hi All,

I believe  Cousens eats very very sparingly, and only ingests food in a 4 hour period out of every 24. The rest of the time it's pure water only.

This is also about calorie restriction for longevity - many of the mainstream long term people practicing calorie restriction are very very thin but there is a lot of solid science to back up their endeavours.... time will tell.

search google for calorie restriction.... Undecided

"People have used seaweed, sometimes called the “vegetable of the sea”, for thousands of years. It has always been closely tied to humans in various cultures because of its availability and the many similarities with the chemical makeup of our own bodies. Seaweed is easy to find, harvest and use.

Anthropologists say we all came from the sea and that some of the sea’s elements are found in our own bodies. Seaweed has a mixture of vitamins, minerals and trace elements forming its composition. Human beings have the same sort of mixture internally. This similarity enables the minerals and healing elements of seaweed to be absorbed through the skin and into our blood, making the benefits of seaweed an almost perfect solution to many of our health problems."

Ah yes, Spirulina & Chlorella ... luvley stuff....

Powder in fresh Pineapple or Grapefruit juice may increase enzyme content and therefore absorption.... also assists 'dissolvability' hehe...

Modern Medicine warns those on pharmaceuticals NOT to eat grapefruit when on medications 'cause this often DOUBLES the absorption or effect of the drug.... think about that!!!

Thick Blue Green Stuff awaits consumption....

Some Flamingos live solely on Spirulina - how sweet is that...

Here's an excerpt from the link:

Seaweed cakes
Some of the seaweed had been pressed into cakes and chewed as quids, like tobacco is sometimes today. Others had clearly been cooked, Dillehay and colleagues say.

"All nine seaweed species recovered at Monte Verde II are excellent sources of iodine, iron, zinc, protein, hormones, and a wide range of trace elements, particularly cobalt, copper, boron, and manganese," they write.

At least two of the species are used medicinally by local indigenous people to treat chest and intestinal ailments.
