Wow Goddess, once again you have just said things in a way that totally harmonates with what I'm feeling!

Supriya, I actually agree with John and RGG, some light weights recommended and supervised by a professional would be greatly beneficial!  It would help strengthen your back and *hopefully* that would reduce the chance of you hurting something in the future.  Back in the day when I trained people, I had quite a few that had serious back problems, chronic pain for years, and after a few weeks of some basic weights they had no more pain!  You might also like to think about Pilates, under a reputable instructor, it can do absolute wonders for back problems!

Anyway, just some thoughts, I obviously don't know what happened to your back intimately, but strengthening exercises can work a charm!

Ahhhhhh sweetpea, I luv ya!!!!!  Always so honest and straight to the point.  Personally, I'm with you, tired of the high and mighty attitude, but it happens, and I just try and remember that really, unless I let affect me it doesn't! 

Merry christmas!  I don't care what calendar we are on, today is a great day to celebrate life and those people in our lives that are/were special to us!

My personal shout out for the day....  Why do people say... "you have to do XXX because it might be your granmothers last crhistmas.." 

Now is this just me, but does today, this one day, negate the last 28 years of me being a lovely person....  I don't think so.  So why to people hold onto christmas days or birthdays or easters as a time!

Wow Free, I think every member of this forum is just drooling looking at your market goodies, *J wipes drool off desk*

I thought I'd just pop on with a few more of my rambles......    tee hee hee to meeeeeeee!

Yesterday I had a massive detox, it's all I can put it down to, I started bawling my eyes out hysterically just randomly while driving home from the shops.  There was nothing that set it off, everything has been great, but for some reason I just needed a good cry!  Since then I've felt really light and free and happy, which is wonderful. 

I'm now full stream ahead planning my holidays and making plans for getting together an awesome raw picnic in the new years for brisbanites! 

Exercise has not been going as well as I would hope, but I'm still doing some walking and T5T when I remember! 

So excited, only 1.5 days of work until holidays and everything will be awesome awesome awesomeness! 

Oh, I finally caved and washed my hair with just conditioner on the weekend after having a swim, I like it better without the conditioner, its more curly and pretty!

Raw New Years Picnic

Where:    Ruby Robinson Playground, Windsor. 

When:    Sunday 11th January 2009

Time:    10:00am til we are done

Bring:    A plate of something yummy to share and serving utensils
   If you make something incredible the recipe to share
   Plates, cutlery and cups
   Something to sit on e.g. Blanket or chairs
   Maybe some pen and paper if you would like to write down any recipes/information

Additional: Have a look online for awesome raw recipes or just bring something simple like a bowl of fruit.  Remember it’s a raw picnic so please make all ingredients 100% raw.  A lot of the time raw gourmet has honey in it and that’s ok but please say so first so you don’t surprise anyone.  No meat, dairy or eggs please.   

Location:    The Ruby Robinson Playground is located in Downey Park, Windsor right next to the Northey St Farm and Markets. 
Parking:    There is plenty of parking at Kidman St.  This is still only about 100mt from the markets.
Facilities:    There is a playground, bathrooms, some tables and chairs and lots of trees , basketball and netball courts and bike tracks, so plenty of entertainment for the children and children at heart

Let me know if you need any more details...  The map is still accurate, just zoom in to see Kidman st for parking!

Hey Organic Girl, I was thinking the bigger park just because (and this is a wonderfully selfish reason) I want to bring my puppy and I figured with children and pets it might be easier with the larger area...  I'll scope it out tomorrow and see where the best spot is, I was thinking just next to the netball courts so right near the farm!

Last night I made a lovely concoction for my hair...
Chunk of papaya, 1 whole (small) lemon, 1 desertspoon of celtic sea salt, 1 teaspoon of bi-carb, 2 desertspoon of honey, all blended until smooth. I massaged through and left for about 5 minutes. 

My hair is now all smooth and soft but not quite as shiny as I'd like it, so I'll continue to tweak that recipe until its perfect!  I feel like I'm on the right track...  I also used it as a face and body scrub and my skin is really looking and feeling lovely now that I've started with the coconut oil as well...  Having so much fun creating recipes!

Yaaaaayyyyyyy!  Thats so cool!  I'm excited about meeting you Rabbit and would love for your friend who is just starting out to come as well!  I'm only newish to raw and I think thats going to be the fun of the whole thing, meeting and actually talking to people!
