Hi Pea,
Cutest name in the world, I might add. I adore peas.
Congrats on doing a day raw! Some people won't do that their whole lives.
Transitioning to raw can be as fast or as slow as any individual desires - I am transitioning myself. I feel as if I have eaten high raw forever, but in fact, it's only been a few months.
I don't know about you, but the thing that I like the most about the transition phase, and eating fave (cooked) things and seeing how it affects my body, is that I am then truly eating consciously.
There was a time when I would not have noticed lethargy or other effects from food, but just kept right on eating. Now, I can eat all raw on the weekends, eat a cooked dish somewhere in the week, and FEEL the affects. Actually notice what food is doing to my body. For me, to eat consciously is a truly powerful thing.
Remember that as the old Chinese proverb says 'the journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step'.
Keep at it. This forum is a fantastic place for support, guidance and knowledge. Lots of individuals in different places on their raw journey.
Welcome!

Hi Miss G,
Thanks! Yes, Pea is well, "P" is my first name initial.
What do you mean you feel you've been eating "high" raw? Was that a spelling error? Or what? I'm not sure what it means!

Yeah, I totally agree with you about the "transition" stage, and about eating consciously. Last week I went to dinner to a vegetarian restaurant with a friend (I'm vegan) and I ate a burger, without bread, it was just the patty and salad and chips, and when I rode home a few hours later my stomach felt soo bloated, and so gross. I felt so heavy and I was literally finding it hard to ride, because my stomach was all clogged up and yucky. It's good, cos every cooked food I eat (or ate) my body is really noticing it. And of course, my body is also noticing all the great food I am putting into it.
Thanks for your kind words Miss G!

P.
