31  Go RAW! The Testimonial Section! / RAW Journals - Your RAW Experiences / Re: A new journal of GreenGoddess... on: Friday 03 October, 2008
I see that in Ian (oldest) w/his father/my hub. Hub is very antagonistic @ times & it is heartbreaking to watch our son shrink. Esp when i ask him to stop & he thinks all's a hoot! Part of the reason i've kept them out of school is to protect them. Pretty near imposs when they live w/a bully! Love

Trying bread recipe from recipes section. Had the ing.= had to try! Also have buckwheat soaking- the last of my stash- to dehydrate for chocolate crinkles? Cronkles? Whozeewhatsit... I don't know now but it sounds smack-yo-lips-tacular... Thinking of hopping in the shower or having some grapefruit juice. My old girl is sitting on the table next to me falling asleep. She kept leaning & having to catch herself. She's laying down now. That was adorable...  Got the dishes done and made breakfast for the boys. Should be able to get my juice today! Also, our dryer is being set up today... Hub said "why don't you go back to bed after i leave?" the reason? "not every1 can sleep thru alarms or go back to sleep just because you want them to..." sigh. Love

Hi! When the chill is in the air (now, in the states- don't get the dates of postings- apologies if this is out of season!) i add cayenne, fresh hot peppers, & garlic to everything. Adore garlic in veg juice. Add peppers to soups/dips. Pit dates and eat them on apple slices for raw caramel apples. Also, eating yr foods @ room temp or warming them in the dehydrator might help. Love

Since RC pm'd me about this back in july i assume this thread is as old but i had to say THANK YOU to all the warm notes about my postings!!! If i had my comp up & running i'd find these lil' bits sooner Shocked) and the marmalade is wicked good used in place of raisins in nana "pb & j". Love

Had 3 pears, BSE, few slices starfruit, & a romaine/nana/fr strawb gs yesterday in addtn to cooked. Weighed myself- told hub, followed by "that's all you need to know!" i'm not going to get into what that knowledge is doing to me. Let's just say i know that i'm the only 1 able to do something about it. If i get to paradise i'll be perfect! Until then... Love

I know from exp how easy it is to say the wrong thing to yr children. The important thing is to be able to apologize/explain why etc. & to do so genuinely. @ least for me. Too many people think it's unnecesary(sp?) to admit a misstep to a child. Love (((Neet)))

@ least 1, Carm! Have had 3 descend on the feeder only to be chased off by another... Hums are so territorial. I'm planting milkweed hoping to attract monarchs. We used to get all sorts of birdlife but a r-a-t was spotted & my birdie banquet was blamed... le sigh. It is just past 8am here & my pear count has reached 3. May take a short nap before facing the rest of the day. Hope you had a good night, Carmie! and all Shocked) Love

Hello, J! Have fun w/raw... I know what you mean about liking new foods- every once awhile i craaaave olives, like this morn', but i used to despise them! For me, eating real food/raw for an extended pd unlocks traumas-never-dealt-with. I hit an emotional wall & run for the gorging. What was my pt? Ah, had 1 but it's gone now...  Yr doing awesome on yr way to new you! Love

Oh, i certainly did Janita! Wound up having a nana/orange/hemp seed 1 after lunch... Which was 3 romaine wraps w/carrot, cuke, avo, & what was left of the mari-mushies. Never had my juice but want a nice big carrot-&-mebbe-cuke juice tomorrow. The hummer-fly garden is a lil' dream of mine. I hope it is well-liked by bees as well. It is situated next to the strawb patch & near the veg garden & the future home of the hucks. Randomly, i hope the pears are ripe enough to gobble tomorrow... altho, i'm rather orangey lately. Even threw 2 into my gs which is rather unheard of. Had chai w/sup tonight & thought of Miss G. I am terribly excited about something for some reason... wish i knew what it was & why! Will blame the caffeine. Love

Feel a bit better. Washed a load of dishes, had an orange/parsley/nana/fr strawbs gs, even got out & yanked a mess out of the sandbox garden- awesome, since i got my plant order yesterday. Making the sandbox into a hummingbird/butterfly garden. Nervous but excited & anxious- can't wait to see it next spring! My hibiscus are doing well & 1 is getting ready to bloom! Still have plants to transfer- ponytail palm needs a bigger pot before it comes in for the winter, strawbs need to finish fruiting before transplanting, blueberry needs trimming... Just a couple wks & the hucks will be here! & i need to call about the hazels... Plant the sedum & lillies... Mow... Lots to do! Going to do another load of dishes & make myself some juice. Love
