Hey Gosia, I have been reading a bit of the Harley Qu's thread and I thought your posts there were really clear and poigniant particularly re calories etc. You are great! I hope you have been going well! xoxoxo
Hey Sanghama. I havn't been on this forum for a while. I read a few of your posts and would love to read more, you sound like a wonderful and interesting lady! I am not on the net very much but hopefully I will make some time soon to read through your journal from start to finnish. xoxoxox
Maybe the expanding water in the cells of the freezing corn ruptures the cellwalls so the internal fibre content of the corn is more fine (cos it is all broken up) and less stringy/chunky, which is maybe why it apears more creamy?
RE, I admire your determination to stick by your ideals about how your kids should be educated. Your kids will most likely be very thankful of your effort when they get older. You seem like a real beautiful earthy soul and its good to have you on the forum.
I think that I was gazing at the very same grandma moon as you last night!

Yeah I have extreme pelvic pain associated with my period. I havent found that eating all-raw has helped reduce the pain hugely. Although, the last 5 days I have been eating mainly green smoothies and no overt fats and am feeling great in the uterus department. I might try and update here when I get my period next to let you know if Ive had any radical reductions in pain.

I also like the smells of some of the big cities I have travelled to eg. Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Mumbai (Bombay). The air pollution is gross for sure but these cities seem to have their own unique scents and I love imaging going back to these places and being hit in the face (esp in humid KL) with their unique smells!
Cool thread.
ps - I had a thought the other day regarding forraging for wild greens. I was wondering about what would catch a chimpanzees (or early humans) nose or vision which would tell them to go eat a specific plant? I was noticing that because I am looking out for weeds more not that I have sharper vision related to spotting them. Yesterday I was riding on a bike path though and I smelt the fennel before I saw it, it was a brilliant moment. Maybe the more we forage, the more our senses will develop to help us find food.
Today is (i think) day 5 of my gs feast. Its been kinda weird but I dont feel like I am doing something challenging. I feel so calm and great that I want to keep eating like this forever! So far Ive had only green smoothies for the first 3 days then yesterday I had about whole 4 apples and a banana (cos I didnt pack enough gs's and I was out all day), and today I'm having whole fruits during the day cos I had to leave at 5.30am this morning and didnt want to wake the house up with the blending, but i will probably have a gs for dinner.
Been for a 2hr ride this morning which was awesome.
