Hey Jen Yeh.. well kinda... lol I got it on Lea-ella's 1st birthday, which was 6 months ago. It's on my right inner forearm and its my favourite tattoo so far Baby Mango is Ella's nikname lol xox
Hey mummys and daddys! I'm not sure if im allowed to post this, so if im breaking any rules just remove the topic, but my daughter Lea-ella has outgrown a lot of her clothes (summer and winter) and toys, so I'm giving a lot of it away. Most of it is in really good condition and some of it has only been worn once or twice, if at all! If you have a little girl on the way, have a daughter who is under 18months, or just want some new clothes to dress your dolls in (haha), please PM me and i'll give you my address (I'm in PERTH) so you can come over and have a rummage haha Also, If anyone knows of any good places to donate childrens clothes and toys too (besides the usual good sammys etc kos they're already getting a good whack of it hehe) please post it on here!
Thanks everyone for your replys! so much useful information Just to clarify, I think i used the wrong terminology... when i said cancerous growths, I ment like possible tumors or possible lymphoma in an 18 month old. so thats the sort of thing Im looking to get rid of lol luv kt xox
Hey, I've posted this on Pregnancy and Children, but wanted to put it here because I'm really hoping for lots of ideas and answers.... :
"Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone had any good tips for boosting the immune system of an 18month old? Specific foods, superfoods, vitamins etc? any other tips? anything with lots of anti-oxidents and anti-cancer properties?
Any information on superfoods (berries, greens, purple corn powder, gojis, cocoa etc) and their effects on sickness in young children? especially shrinking unwanted growths? or complimentative therapies? or just general food ideas? Really any information on things that help with childhood illness esp possible cancerous growths?

To all my bootiful raw preggie ladies, mummas and puppas out there,
I couldnt leave without saying a special goodbye to all you beautiful people. You have given me such great advice and friendship especially through my pregnancy and I couldnt have done it without you!
So to all my fellow raw-parents (or parents-to-be), a big thank you and a huge hug!!!!!!!!!!!!
The time has come for me to hang up my boots at this forum. I love eating raw and I find 99% of you amazing, beautiful and inspiring beyond words
I'm sure I'll still pop my head in to check on you from time to time hehe But I dont think I'll be posting again anytime soon ...
I want to be encouraged for my efforts and my high raw (aiming for all raw) lifestyle and, unfortunatly, that has not been the responce I've been getting so I no longer feel this is the place for me.
I've always done my best to help people on here if I could and have done my best to avoid confrontation (because its just not me) but I don't like when i feel im being purscecuited for doing what I feel is my current best.
A special thank you to Peirs, Sheryl, Jennie, Neet, RawNaturopathJen, Pinky, VirtualMeg, BerryBliss, Freedom, MissGiggles, Lou, RawConnection, Joss (incase your still lurking around hehe), OrganicGirl, VegiesMakeMeSmile, Sachman and Dragonfly_emi for being such beautiful, inspirational and warm people. Thank you for the advice and laughs
consistence and honesty - recovering from eating disorders. have been high raw for 7years, am proud of myself for actually eating, and then for eating and not purging afterwards. I cant be much more consistent or honest then that. The fact that my eating '6inches' of wholemeal bread about 3 times in the past few weeks and that ive had cooked pumpkin and pepper has generated such a strong reaction is quite bewildering to me. To think that I am being honest about what I eat and the fact that i am doing my best to maintain a high raw or all raw diet without slipping into old patterns of eating less then a few calories a day, and getting such negative responses is so disheartening. I'd hate to think what would happen if I was eating mac donalds or white bread! its no wonder so few people post on here (considering how many people are actually signed up.) and seem to only be game to post when they have eaten really well.
To be guilted and made to feel like sh*t (when I'm quite capable of doing that myself) for eating the above foods is rediculas, in my opinion.
I came to these boards to look for inspiration. for ordinary people doing their best to make their lives extrordinary. not to be told that the reason why my skin broke out for THREE days is because i had pepper... apparently its not because I've gotten my period for the second time in over 2 years, or the fact that my body was still producing milk (that i didnt even realise until 2 days ago), or the fact that ive been stressed to the nines because my athletic mother has been in hospital waiting for a heart transplant, or the fact that Ive started back at work as an aerobics instructor and have been back working for 11+ hours a week not to mention my own training so I'm sweating out all the toxins which then sit on my skin, or the fact that I'm doing all of this while looking after a 1 year old and a boyfriend. your right.. it is all that 'junk food' and pepper... I am so crazy to think that some friendly advice could have helped me get over that temporary feeling of yuckyness...
so yes, picking up subway on the way home from the hospital may be the reason that I had a few pimples, but to be honest, i doubt it.
So I appologise if my 'strong words' fuelled my hurt, frustration and pms, upset anyone, but to be honest, it made me feel a whole lot better.
