I too admire that you said something calmly to that man bout his behavior towards the woman he was with. So true that we often just don't want to get involved. For some reason it reminds me of an experiment that was filmed I saw once set in America, where a young child was to ask lunch time passer by's for some money to help him get home........ I was amazed at how the passer by's, in the film, just ignored him and kept on there merry way..... But when people calmly stand up for what they believe in and know to be right, as you did there is always HOPE

Have an absolutely WONDERFUL DAY

Well I haven’t posted here for a lonnngg time. The bloods back showed my thyroid and liver had normalized, So that’s just amazing considering medical practitioners told me my thyroid was irreversible, but then again you hear amazing stores from people all the time who have gone raw.  ohyeah

My weight does not particularly want to shift, I must try not to focus on it, but I do. I’m feeling great and on holidays for six bloody weeks soon, LUCKY ME!!! I’m a teacher Smiley

So I have some serious stuff to get accomplished over the break, including committing and doing my mediation twice every day.

Hers a few things that have to get done,

Reading Inna Segals book and putting the practices she suggested I do into practice, Finish unpacking
Get down the coast as much as possible.

Screen print some of Warrens T-shirt designs, my youngest sons dad is an awesome artist, he promised to make me up some screens before xmas including some raw ones, can’t wait to see what he comes up with.
I’ve been training very hard and have committed to a gym and there training methods for 12 weeks. It’s full on I am also very much looking forward to putting what Jim showed us on the retreat into practice.

I’m contemplating trying  80/10/10 to see if it assists in me losing fat. I've never stuck to it and find it hard to get my head around that I will lose weight on it, but unless I try it I will never know, any suggestions or advice here would be most appreciated

Or I might try a juice feast, however this time of year is so good with all the delish fruit available, I had mango, celery and coriander salad for lunch YUMMO.

I am going to try to post more regularly as well, I know I’ve said that before

freeze bananas ans some berries and put hrough juicer on blank to make sorbet then put in a cake tin or jelly mould and refreeze. Turn out on platter when ready to serve and decorate with other fruit or pour a date sauce (dates soaked in water then blended) over it. Enjoy! This was what I did for my son's 1st birthday. Oh and this is Organic_Girl posting via ALi's username as i'm at her house and can't remember my password Smiley rolleyes

Jen it is ground, however the processing which I am not 100% sure off how they do it, so didn't want to say, removes all oils to avoid it going rancid. I have asked her to send me some info once I get it will fill you in. Smiley

The whole seed would be awesome, however I realise that hemp seed goes rancid quickly, therefore i spoke to the producer of those products in quite some depth they assured me that 'all' the oil is naturally removed from the seed in processing so really you are just left with a protein ect that does not go rancid.

the producer who is a naturopath and very knowledgeable and I decided to have faith in what she told me about her products and give them a go. Because that was my very issue initially, as i did not want them to go rancid.

Flax seed oil from my understanding and research can keep up too 3 weeks if treated correctly and so does hemp oil.

My goodness, loooonnngg time between posts. Lots has happened.

Among other things we moved house and I went to SA for a week to see my gran, only to have to fly straight back over as she passed away. so glad I had the week with her before hand.

Getting my garden sorted here and that will be an ongoing venture.

So had a big break from training, probably a good idea, quite a few therapists I had seen in relation to my blood work and weight gain had suggested i do this. Went back last week and am trying a totally different way of training at present, a few basic compound free weight exercises followed by a circuit with weights and bosu ball then full on cardio for short duration. Like HITT training. Along with this I am walking my dog at night.  Still got to get the hang off the circuit training with the bosu ball. I'll go tomorrow again.

A few of my relo's and myself have entered a competition with each other over 12 weeks. with weight loss, I wanted fat loss, and measurements but not so doable so body weight it is. Although I could do with loosing at least 10kgs of fat. This is week 3 I think, anyway it ends around the 10th January.

I had repeat bloods done, get the results on Tuesday, still going great with the raw food, over 7 months now. Interestingly I weighed myself for the first time in months at the start of this comp and over the 7 months of going raw I had dropped about 7kgs. So obviously my thyroid must be settling down, anyway will be interesting the results.

So I am not working today, well not until this afternoon and I go help with a delivery at the food co-op. it is glorious weather here. I have not put my goals I wanted too in writing yet. Actually I am still not entirely clear on them.

One thing I have noticed is that I have been very spasmodic with my weight training. I absolutely love weight training it's even a form of meditation to me, I find I have to concentrate so much on the task at hand that I think of nothing else often while lifting weights.

However I have not had my heart in it lately. I have been skipping lots of sessions. Can't quite work out why. I could ride with this, however I think I am going to come down hard on myself and make my self go regularly and before I know it I will be loving it again Smiley

Anyways I need to get outside and enjoy this glorious weather before I go to work, will see if I can add a pic of my youngest child.

Love and light Alixx
