Hello my beautiful raw friends long time no post.

I would love the join your 100 raw challenge Berry. It will be 2 years tomorrow since I stopped eating raw and despite numerous attempts I have failed to return to 100% raw.

Life has been up and down lots in that time but my health has really been suffering the past month especially. I am on antibiotices for my chest and I have bad back pains probably a build of toxins in my weakest body part.

Otherwise life is good with Mark and I still going strong and the kids are doing really well at school and truly enjoying it.

I will start with something yummy and raw for dinner tonight.

Hugs
Tracey

Hey Beautiful ahh but not much time for myself yet because I still have my daughter Shelley at home. Tried her in daycare but she hated it and I am not the type of mum who will force her to stay if she hates it afterall she is only 2 1/2 and now she doesn't have any brothers to play with 3 days per week she is driving me mad. I have to find something for her to occupy herself with.

Go on have a good larf but it really isn't that funny when you can't have a proper relationship with someone you have a life committment with. Something has definately got to change in that area really soon one night alone together in all the time we have been together. Gets me down sometimes but I love him so I will endure and wait. Ah there's that power of a woman again.

Me definately going to bed now sooo veeery tired.

You're welcome my beautiful Berry.

It is true in word about what women are made of and what we truly can do. I truly think we don't give ourselves enough credit sometimes for our strength and endurance to keep going no matter what the universe throws at us.

I know for a fact that I definately don't credit myself enough for what I do and have done with all that has happened in my life in the past 20 months.

Have a beautiful night.

Hey Jen yes I am more rushed but I do feel more at peace. The kids are so happy at school and it is making me feel so proud that they are doing so well. They have a merit system where the teachers gives merits and when you get 10 you get a bronze award and then when you get 5 bronze you get a silver. Dylan (my oldest) was the first to get one in the whole school after being their only 6 weeks.

They are being so good and so polite and all I am hearing is how wonderful my kids are. I'm starting to wonder if they are the same kids I have to deal with at home LOL.

Paulina hope you can find a good school you are happy with for your son. I know for a fact if I had put them in the local school in town where we live they would have just slipped through the cracks in the system. Their school is so wonderful and all the staff and teachers are all so lovely and approachable which is good.

Didn't have a raw day but did have a green smoothie this morning with baby spinach leaves, baby endive, cucumber, celery, peaches and pears. I've even got Mark drinking green smoothies which is good and the kids all love them too. Have been making Mark lemon and water all day and making him eat raw garlic because he is sick. Convinced him not to run to the doctor for antibiotics for just a cold.

I'm totally wiped out so I'd better get some sleep. I'll try to get on the forum a bit more often (when I'm home that is).

Why Women Cry

A little boy asked his mother, 'Why are you crying?' 'Because I'm a woman,' she told him.

'I don't understand,' he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, 'And you never will.'

Later the little boy asked his father, 'Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?'

'All women cry for no reason,' was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, 'God, why do women cry so easily?'

God said

'When I made the woman she had to be special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,

yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed.'

'You see my son,' said God, 'the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides.'

Hugs

Hey Phil welcome to the forum.

Your in Canberra, I live in Nowra on the South Coast.

Sounds like you're having lots fun with raw. I was raw for 6 months but fell off nearly 20 months ago when my husband passed away. I've been having a major battle with my cooked addictions ever since.

Hey send us some of that kelp powder your on LOL might help me keep up with these 6 active and cheeky kids of mine.

Been thinking of you all lots but for some reason haven't had time to actually get on the forum and post. So many changes have occurred in the past 2 months and life has been very hectic.

Beautiful Berry how are you? You look wonderful in your newest photo. I'm happy (as can be the way things are) and falling deeper in love with Mark. Still waiting for more time together, still sneeking around pretending nothing is going on which at times is getting ridiculous and sometimes fun. Been sleeping out at his and the mother-in-laws house often but him in his room and me and the kids in the loungeroom (ho hum). But our relationship is strong and permanent and one day (one day) it will be perfect.

As for my health I have been up and down have my good days and my bad days but I can hear my body screaming out - please feed me raw. Have been having green smoothies and will get where I want to be again one day.

Paulina, we didn't end up having the inspection in February because the kids hadn't done their work and I came to the realisation that it is not us anymore only me and I just couldn't do it anymore on my own so I've put 4 of them in school and 1 in pre-school 3 days per week. It is a very small school only about 43 kids (4 classes) and I have one in each class and they are doing very very well and love it. I'm so proud of how well they are doing and they are getting lots of one on one. Brady who is in pre-school wants to go everyday not just 3.

I always thought my kids knew more than they let on and from how well they are doing I know it is true. They all come home happy and I love how excited they are bring me home paintings and awards etc.

Hope everyone is well and will really try to post more often but I'm hardly ever home.

Love & Hugs

Hi All

I haven't been ignoring you I just haven't had any desire still be spend time on the computer at all, just isn't in my space at all at present.

Hope all had a wonderful yule/xmas and I'll wish you all a blessed New Year now in case I don't get back on the computer again before then.

I've been struggling with raw but am slowly picking myself up again. The kids have been really stressing me out a lot lately and I've found everything just a tad too much lately but I'll get there and it will settle down soon.

Hi Violet thanks for that advice but I would have to disagree about frequent demand breastfeeding working because I have demand fed 4 of my 6 and I have fallen pregnant 3 times whilst breastfeeding.

Hey beautiful Chermona no I don't have many green smoothies though I know I should. I'm going to make sure I get enough greens and fruit to make some on Tuesday. I looove baby spinach. I did make one last week and watered it down and that is all I drank until after lunch. Yeah the pogo stick was fun but not easy. Think I'll stick to playing tip and passing the footy with the kids for now.

Yeah I am a survivor I have to be I have my ups and downs but I have to always stay strong for my beautiful children. So I guess you're looking a tad greener this week after all those greens heehee.

Haven't been 100% raw for a whole day yet but I have been eating lots of fruit especially the past 2 days. I have had a few goes at hitting the bag and I've been doing some weights every second day. Actually my back and neck have been really sore since I started probably re-adjusting to getting some exercise.

Had a few down days and things have been really really tight again money wise which always upsets me because I cannot buy my kids the abundance of fruit that I would like to.

Got stung on the back this morning by some stingy bug and man did it ever hurt and sting. It is still very sore even now but the redness has gone away. Just stopped the car out Mark's and I felt it sting me. It must have flown in the window and got caught in my hair and then it attacked - ouch.

Anyway I definately should be in bed but I needed some raw inspiration.

Have a beautiful rawsome day all.

Love & Hugs

Oh beautiful Neet so great to hear that you are back up and smiling as usual after a few downs. I haven't been on the forum for a while so I've had quite some reading in your journal to catch up.

You are such a strong inspirational woman and I love sharing your journey with you.

Cee I haven't had my ears candled but I have candled my son's ears myself and I did my late husband's ears once or twice and he said it was awesome. I must do my boys ears again and Mark wants his done too. Will have to do his and then he can do mine.

Love ya Neet

Hi Neet, sounds like an awesome day for you and wow that your client's appreciate you so much and what a way to spread the word on raw.

With the banana's it doesn't matter how I have them and I never really tried them whilst I was raw because I didn't want to experience the sick feeling I get in my stomach when I eat them as it so intense I had to lay down usually until it passed.

A slight taste of banana and I feel sick although I have eaten them in cooked muffins and I don't get sick. The only time I've ever been able to eat them is years ago when a naturopath had me on a potassium suppliment then I couldn't get enough of them.

Yeah nuts I can do without too. Bit of almond milk I can handle but I know last time I was raw I ate way too many nuts and it wasn't good for my digestion and way to harsh on me. Also ate too much dried fruit so now I only have some dates every now and again.

Love & Hugs
