Was Harley banned for writings posted on this thread? Or something he said elsewhere on RP?

I don't know the exact guidelines, but I read every thing he wrote the last few weeks on this thread and can't see what he possibly said that would have RP take the drastic measure of shutting him down.

If he was shut down for what he said here, this would be a case of unnecessary censorship, plus intolerance of a far worse kind than any thing Harley has been accused of.

Harley is straight-forward, rhetorically funny, and yes, inspiring.  If any one didn't care for his style, they could easily have changed the channel.

This seems to be a case of pandering on RP's part to a few vocal thin-skinned individuals to the detriment of the many who enjoyed Harls's insights and the witty way he presented them.

In my humble opinion, this is a sad day for Raw Pleasure.

I think direct-speak and rhetorical wit is being confused with agressiveness and lack of heart or compassion.

I prefer flavorful mangoes over those that are bland.

I just hung out with Harls a great deal in Thailand last month.  I disagree with a lot of the sentiments expressed here.  I found Harls kind, compassionate, inspirational, grounded and substantive.   He is also a good listener and thoughtful.  I thought his appearance was healthy and vibrant.  I'm not brown-nosing in any way, I'm just calling it as I see it.

One way I was inspired was I learned more about using a bicycle as a means of transportation.   Since I've been back in Calfornia, I've been riding my bicycle much more and my life experience has been the better for it.  Indeed, in this regard, I feel like a kid again and more connected to my surroundings.  And this is just one example.   

I find Harls's postings on this site to contain good and unique takes on various important life subjects--all the while using language as an art form.  It makes reading Harls's writings both thought provoking and fun to read.
