so i finally managed to try a green smoothie, and i used romaine lettuce, half a kiwi, and a frozen banana. and water, of course. it wasn't too bad; in fact, it mostly tasted of banana. i'm anxious to try out all of your suggestions and i got a few from the gs with a twist thread as well! thanks for all the help!
thanks everyone for your help. one last question; do you generally just blend a gs or do you need to puree? should it be totally and completely smooth, and able to drink just like a liquid? i truly appreciate all of your help!
hi everyone, i'm just starting out trying eating raw, and i have a few questions about green smoothies. first of all, is this something than can be drank in replacement of eating something for lunch? and also, are there any specific recipes you all follow, with things a person who isn't too far into eating raw yet would have around their house? for me, i don't have a lot of the sprouts and greens that you all have because i haven't been eating raw long yet, and so finding a green smoothie recipe is proving difficult. thanks so much, =kasie=
