I saw a video last week of a hippo who saw a young impala caught by a crocodile. It actually waded over and attacked the crocodile, and gently took the young animal in it's jaws and pulled it ashore. It was amazing to see an animal rescue like this. Then it was lifting the head of the young animal seemingly trying to bring it back to life. It was a good reminder that humans don't hold the only right to feelings and emotions for sure.

If you want to see it do a search for: hippo impala rescue video   on Google... it's everywhere.

oh that is so beautiful Sheryl,it melts my heart...but then my heart seems to melt and overflow with love alot esp these days....raw does that,knocks down the barriers...hey and hippo's eat raw right..*grin*
