Mmmm. I love Alissa's tortillas. Actually I prefer the fillings. I can just eat them on their own. With fresh corn. Yummmers! Hope that pilaf goes well.

Today was eviction day. The cukes and zukes are blossoming. Pulled 3 radishes from the garden. Had a mess of juice today! Life's good. Love

It is strange how empty a liar can make you feel. Perhaps worse are the questions the lies bring up. Worse still may be the refusal to answer. I am going to give myself the gift of God's promises and the health 1 can only receive thru eating the amazing fruits and veg He's made us. He never lied to the Israelites- why would He lie to me? I've made a plan for myself for the next 3 days. All is written out food-wise. That should help when an aaargh! moment hits. Been really overdoing junk to the pt that I'm becoming physically ill. Stress doesn't help- things are still strained w/husband. Trying not to break. Love

Will & i just shared 2c carrot juice. He had the cutest orange handlebar moustache! Had to tweak my day's menu slightly as i took the lazy route & juiced only carrot instead of veg & i'm out of what i was going to have for dessert. May take a nap before husband arrives. Love

Ty, Neet Smiley                  day 2 is coming to a close. Woke horribly dizzy & dealt w/it well. Sam's neck is very swollen & tender on 1 side. Husband is staying home mon to take him to the ped. W/the stress lately i almost burst into tears when i saw it. Tropical Storm Hanna is gracing us w/much needed rain. Hurricane Ike is next- i don't know where he is. Interesting times... Love

It is a bit before 6am, sunday... & i want to go for a walk. But i currently have a Will at the breast and a cat on my chest. Maybe when they're done. Lol. No dizziness today! Had flax seeds in my lunch and hemp seeds in my eve snack- both of which were generously shared w/kiddos. Was going to have tabouli for supper, but didn't want to go to the "trouble" and made a huge veg-gr8t juice instead- just as much prep! Lol. Husband hulled strawberries for their dessert and put a bowlful in the fridge for me but i was stupendously stuffed! Waited a bit then did 100 sit-ups on ab rocket. Am coveting the abdominals of all featured in the P90X commercial. Wonder if anyone's done it raw? Love

Just returned from walk. Just did my street. Then i weeded the herb garden, refilled the oriole feeder, & now in bed nursing Will again. The top half of me wants to rest but the bottom wants to get up & go! A bit sinusy this morning. Will have blended watermelon for breaky! Need to balance study-time, housecare, family, and me-time. Oh, on my walk there were some smallish branches along the sidewalk from the storm. Love

Really, the shortest of walks, but it helped heaps. Now it is almost 11pm and i'd like to take another but husband would never go for it. I did get my 100 sit-ups in before bed. Hardly felt them & thought of going to 150 but decided against it as i was mowing the yard today and that was a lot for this sedentary sheila! Used a reel mower on rather long grass and was only able to get the backyard done. Great news- husband is in the process of removing our sweet shrub so we'll have room for the hazels i ordered & he is all for me ordering the huckleberries! I had a veg burger on bread tonight piled w/3 romaine leaves, a whole sliced tomato, 2 thick slices avo, & a fistful of alfalfa sprouts. Dessert was a chocolate-almond butter-banana smoothie that i shared with husband. Looking forward to my blended melon in the am- & maybe an early walk since he'll be home. Must locate young coconuts! Craving! Love
