After a couple of stints out bush for work I am back on the training wagon.  Cheers durianrider one simple sentence has given me a boost.  After a few weeks out of the gym, off the bike and out of my runners its been a struggle.  Thanks Jen for the kale salad last night  kiss

Hey man,fruit1,you've been missed,so awesome that you are doing really well..you know you are more than welcome to drop back in at any given time, don't think you have to love and leave us,esp when you always have so much positive info to pass on!

I am doing so well with my workouts, feeling awesome, changing things here and there, work in progress, and plus my goals keep changing,as i achieve one i up the ante and move onto the next goal,so there is never an end in sight, just a wonderful sweaty journey, lol rolleyes

a lady i work with, who hits the gym couple times of week, was telling me she was on the rowing machine the other day, for 15 minutes, and going as hard as she could, and she was doing 1 km every 5 mins...she asked me how many i do,i said i do just over 2kms every 5 mins, she just rolled her eyes and walked off...i don't know why,but i just get into the zone and off i go,i love feeling the burn in my arms, back, belly and butt...hey and i'm all raw too, guess that makes a diff...loving my running as well, and focusing rather intently on my weights more, and noticing a rapid improvement in tone and lift, esp in my legs/butt.so everyday,i am never doing the same thing, good key to getting quick results,as the bod doesn't know whats coming next, and is constantly being shocked...

will check out the site f1,thank you...all the best to you... afro

Hey Fruitarianone how's it going.  I've been laying low.  Been out bush quite a bit for work and been busy moving house etc.  Trying to keep the ball rolling but its hard.  I am just recoving from a very nasty food poisoning.  When they say cooked food is poison I now have proof.  It was my last night and my raw supplies were low.  My drilling crew said to come out for dinner so I tempted fate with some fish and salad.  The following 12 hours were perhaps the worst of my entire life.  Oh man it was BAD!!!!!  I lost 3kg over a day which was probably all fluid.  The next two days were spent fasting to make sure it was all out.  I'm hitting the gym tonight so I just thought I'd check the boards for a bit of inspiration.  Hope everyone is playing hard!

hey,UF,that's nasty nasty, sorry to hear about that..hey you would've been better eating grass.. rolleyes no seriously, glad you're on the mend..have been having a more gentle work out week..fasted on monday, and have been feeling a little "off" since, but that's okay,my body needs a little quiet time now and then,it's usually thrashed daily with my workouts and nonstop on the go life...so this is healthy for me...not easy to do,but vital for my well being.

UF, that's a lesson for all of us... a pretty clear omen. It must be hard when you're on the road, especially "out bush". How do you do it?

I haven't kept track of time, but my 25 ks pw are really starting to pay off. I have been doing 10 bicep curls a day also, and have just started increasing to 15. A little bit of rebounding too. I know I'm in the little leagues, but at least I'm starting to feel like it's a routine.

Neet can't see you leg muscles but your arm definition is awesome.  I wouldn't go near any weights on the legs.  As I said to you before, they would just add mass, I get enough muscle mass from the running.  My current goal is to stay focused on eating a clean raw diet and stripping the body fat to get better lean definition and less mass.

You are the girls excerise inspiration!!  smiley
