The avatar is the image that shows beside your name when you post. Adding an image helps people recognise you and just makes the whole forum a more personal place.

To add a photo just follow these easy steps:
1) Go to the forum
2) Click the PROFILE button in the top blue menu of the forum
3) Under "Modify Profile" on the left click on "Forum Profile Information"

The choose the photo you want! You have three choices:

4a) Personalized Picture - choose from any of the ones we have provided
     (you can click on each one to see a preview of what it looks like)
4b) I have my own pic - Use this for image files stored somewhere on the internet
4c) I will upload my own picture - use this if you have an image file ready for upload

5) Click on Change Profile on the bottom right corner of the page to save the changes you have made.

Once you go back to the forum you'll see your photo next to your name on any posts you do!
