Hi!

Thanks for the full reply. I'll let you know how I go. What a pity about the book situation. My husband is thinking of wiping clean our computerbecase we have a virus, How do you get the e-book back?
When I talk about a raw diet, people very frequently say words to the effect, "I can't digest it......my digestion is not strong enough... Wink "
Untill a few months ago I wasn't sure how I would go.  I started to eat 100% raw three and a half months ago (11th July, '04) The raw food wasn't bad to digest, except the ones with high fat content, ie., avocado, olives and olive oil.
I'm asuming olives are raw as we cured some once and they were not cooked.
I was suffering terribly from heartburn for the last few years because I have Scleroderma(a rare rheumatic condition related to rheumatoid arthritis). It had been getting worse and every night I was going to bed in great pain and discomfort.
At first on the 100% raw diet it didn't seem to be improoving. Then it was steadily getting better! Yesterday it suddenly dawned on me that I hadn't had heartburn for over a week!!!!!!!! :D
I don't even watch how much oily food I eat.
I bought some coconut oil from our local organic shop. YUM! Tongue I love it as food and skin cream! I saw your testimonial Sheryl! :D

Thanks for everything!

That's Fabulous Bern!

It's always wonderful hearing about people starting out, because other than detox effects, the results are always amazing! Often unpredictable, but always amazing. smiley

A great side note on the coconut, if you can do some reading on the health benefits of coconut. I used to think that because it had some saturated fats in it that it was necessarily "bad" for us. The awesome thing is that coconut actually has some of the easiest fats of all for our body to digest with extremely little work from the liver unlike most other fats. Many of the fatty acids in it can be broken down into rare omega 3's and the water of the coconut is so similar in electrolite (salt) balance to our blood that in the second world war they would use coconut water in intravenous (IV) drips straight into peoples bloodstream when they had lost medically dangerous levels of fluids. The antibacterial properties have been used by many tropical cultures to strengthen against all sorts of disieses and parasites.

Anyway to say congratulations, we'd like to encourage you by making your update post of the week! cheesy (better late than never!) Just email postoftheweek@raw-pleasure.com.au to claim your prize and we'll sort the details out with you.

Cheers!
