1/2 blenderful baby romaine (red & green if you can find it)
2c grapes (used black)
2 frozen nanas
water

blend greens (or green & reds- HA!) with water until well pureed. add grapes and blend until well pureed again. add nanas and... well, you know!
going to try it with red grapes next time.
rather yummo  smiley

I must remember this one as the grape season comes closer and closer.

Hmmm grapes and bananas, my favourite foods.

the funny thing about this smoothie is that it tastes just like welch's purple grape juice- something i absolutely despised as a child and still don't care for much. what makes it so good (at least, to me) is the romaine!

i am now obsessed w/baby romaine...

ah, lettuce obsession!

tee hee!

Durianrider
Do you add Celery as well or instead of banana?  or just grapes and celery?  Does Celery go well in the blender?

Anna I put celery in my gs' with banana and whatever else I want (example: spinach, parsley, celery, banana, peach, young coconut water plus a little young coco flesh). I don't have a blender, only a food processor, so I sometimes get 'strings' of celery stuck in my teeth  cheesy but a think a blender would solve this problem. Gorgeous new photo by the way!
