Congratulations Lois! That's fantastic!

Piers and I both got our starts with Raw Foods in 1999 at the Living Health day of Anthony Robbins Unleash the Power Within seminar (UPW) too. Since then we've both attended Mastery University, and done Leadership DWD and Leadership Academy. The events are fantastic, and isn't it incredible the enthusiasm and energy you take with you when you go home.

Once you've attended the events you're able to apply to go again as volunteer crew. It's an incredible way to put yourself back into the atmosphere of the events, and help others have the same life changing experiences.

If you want to post about your 10 day challenge here we'd love to support you. The breathing is an especially important part.

For those of you that haven't attended you can try this too. The idea is to do a set of 10 deep breaths to the following ratio: inhale 1, hold 4, exhale 2. So you might inhale for 5 seconds, hold for 20 and then exhale for 10.  Breathing like this pumps up your oxygen levels, and also acts like a vacuum on the lymphatic system. It's fabulous for you, and gives you more energy than a coffee ever would! This is known as Tony Robbins 1-4-2 breathing.

Doing three sets of breaths like this has been shown to give you a higher quality of sleep in much less time. There have even been reports of people only needing 4 hours of sleep a night after implementing this type of breathing. The best times to do them are first thing on waking, just after lunch, and last thing before you go to sleep. Graphs of brain activity when people implement this breathing have consistently shown that they fall down to the deepest most restful healing levels of sleep MUCH faster, and stay there longer. This is though to be why we regularly see a drop in number of hours of sleep needed.

Congratulations again Lois, and please share some more of your experiences with us!!

Cheers,
Sheryl

PS The idea is to work up to holding each breath as long as possible... so you might start with 5-20-10 and work up to 15-60-30... something like that!

Cheers,
Sheryl
